Is this real? Did Mina just said she missed me too? Did she just kissed me? Am I really kissing her again?

We pulled out of the kiss to breathe. We were both panting. I stared at her eyes.

"That was like a dream came true. After what you've said, I never thought..."

"I take back what I've said. I did mean well. I did that for you to not risk your life again. But for you not to acknowledge me, be cold towards me, seeing how my words hurt you and then not seeing you ever again..." She looked at her hands. "...was unbearable. You confused me long ago even when I'm still with Rowan. You made me feel things that I haven't felt before. You invaded my mind and even when I'm grieving for Rowan, I fins myself thinking about you. And the more I get to know you, the more time we spent together... It deepens."

The pain in my heart vanished and it was replaced by joy. Everything she said touched me.

I put both hands on her cheeks to make her look at me.

"Hearing those words became a cure to the pain you inflicted. Never have I imagined you'll say those. You have guarded your feelings well and kept it well hidden. But am I understanding it right?..."

"I love you Chae, I have loved you since... Since... I really don't exactly know when but I do. And I don't ever want to push you away anymore."

Hearing those exact words was music to my ears that I immediately smiled. I let her go walked out of the gazebo and jumped while throwing my fust in the air. After 3 jumps, I went back seeing a giggling Mina.

"Sorry, I had to let that out." I then went closer and hold both her arms. "You do love me?"

She smiled her gummy smile and nodded. I pouted.

"Was that a yes?"

She laughed at me.

"Yes."

I threw another fist in the air then went back to holding her. I took a deep breath and looked at her in her eyes.

"Mina, would you be my girlfriend?"

Mina's breath hitched. She was staring, blinking and seemed frozen. Then she gulped and licked her now dry lips.

"Yes."

"Woohoo!!!" I threw another fist in the air and then hugged her and twirled her around.

We were both laughing and smiling as I put her down.

"You had made me the most happiest man alive." I hugged her tight again.

"You don't know how happy I am too. And relieved for I finally said it. I almost went crazy on how should I say it and what should I do. Should I go to you and find you. Luckily you came." Mina put both her arms on my neck. "I'll never let you go ever again."

She kissed me again. And then hugged me. I changed our position a d leaned my back unto the pillar. I let her lean on me and stay in my arms. Enjoying the feeling of knowing she loves me too.

"I have loved you since almost 4 years ago."

Mina lifted her head to look at me. She looked confused.

"How?"

I let her go for a while, I lifted my right leg and took the knife from my boot and show it to her.

She took it looking confused.

"I was on a mission. Same thing that I usually do, I do the sneaking in. I was wearing soldier clothes and gears. We were able to open the gates without the people inside knowing. We were on our way back to our base when suddenly two guards appeared from the forest near the castle walls. They saw us, one fired his arrows at us. I was hit by the chest. I hid unto the forest while the others escaped. I made my way to the river and I passed out there."
