No one's POV.
The day of the coronation arrived. The whole castle was as busy as ever. Security had been much more tighter. All the royals from all the Kingdom were invited even the royals from Aevar too. Chae requested for all the royals to be escorted with their own troops as many as possible.
Archers were aligned around the castle walls. Each entrance and exit are carefully guarded plus there will be a check point stop on every road leading to the castle.
All businesses were closed as the people in the kingdom are excited for the event.
5 hours before the event, the royals from all over Kyria have arrived. They were all given their own rooms in the castle.
3 hours before the event the royals from Aevar have arrived. King Dero was walking towards Chaeyoung with Keefa and Jaruf by his side along with Tyrian soldiers trailing behind.
"King Dero, your highness." Chaeyoung bowed before he was pulled by Dero for a hug. "I'm glad you safely arrived." He said to the King.
"I told you in the letter you should start dropping the honorifics. You'll be King in a few hours."
"Old habits die hard, your highness."
"Oh my Lady... You're as pretty as ever." Dero said as he greeted Princess Mina who's standing beside Chaeyoung.
"It's nice to see you again, your highness." Mina curtsied and soon followed by Sana. "My sister, Princess Sana."
"I knew she's related to you. Pretty like her sister. King Dero from Tyrian, my Lady." King Dero said as he bowed.
"Nice to meet you, your highness." Sana said smiling.
"Your highness, a pleasure to see you again." Tzuyu went beside Sana, bowed at King Dero and put his hand around Sana's waist.
"Ooh. Our youngest Prince has found his lady." King Dero clapped. "Happy for you. You two look great. Wait. Where's Momo? Did he found his princess too?"
"He did found someone better than a royal. He's somewhere doing some last minute security check." Tzuyu said looking around.
Dero and Chaeyoung was soon seen whispering at each other. Dero gave Chaeyoung a hug again then went over to Mina and hug her too. He quickly let go and raised his arms yet still smiling. The royals soon greeted the other royals of Aevar.
An hour and a half before the event starts, all the guests are now on their own respected seats.
Momo was with Chaeyoung by the hallway.
"Everything set?" Chaeyoung asked Momo.
"Yup."
5 mins before it starts, Momo helped Chaeyoung wear the white anointing cape. After making sure Chaeyoung's cape is in place, Momo asked Chaeyoung: "You Ready bro?"
Chaeyoung took a deep breath before he said: "I am."
Despite the fact that his heart was racing due to nervousness, he was now feeling a little excited.
"Let's go then. Let's start." Momo motioned at the guards by the castle doors.
The seniors from their royal family were lined up in front. As soon as the castle doors opened, the seniors started marching along the red carpet path that led towards the castle grounds where the event was held.
Next to march was the royal kids. The 3 high priests were next. Two of them were holding the crown and the royal sceptre, while the 3rd was holding the royal sword of justice.
"See you there bro. You got this!" Momo said punching Chaeyoung on the arm.
He then walked behind the high priests along with two of the royal guards in front of him.
Soon the 6 royal guards started marching followed by Chaeyoung while the other six marched behind him..
Chaeyoung thought that it was the longest walk of his life. It was painstakingly slow for him. The crowd started to cheer as soon as they saw Chaeyoung approaching. This made Chaeyoung smile widely.
The main stage was getting nearer. The huge stage was 'U' in shape. The royals were seated on both sides. Mina's family was the closest to the right. While Chaeyoung's family was by the left.
The senior royals went to their seats as well as the royal kids. 3 royal guards from the side of the stage took the crown sceptre and the sword, while the high priests took their position at the center of the stage.
The royal guards went up the stairs with Chaeyoung, escorting him until he reached his seat.
The high priests gave some speech to the crowd before facing Chaeyoung. Chaeyoung were given a scroll to read as the High priests started with the rites.
After the rites, Chaeyoung stated his oath. The High priests then took the crown and royal sceptre from the royal guards and went in front of Chaeyoung. The crowd couldn't see what's happening for the 3 priests block their view.
Once the high priests steps back, the crowd gasp as they see Prince Chaeyoung now standing, a crown in his head while holding the royal sceptre. He then kneeled on a cushioned low chair while facing the crowd.
One of the priest went behind Chaeyoung, raised the royal sword of justice and gently put it in Chaeyoung's shoulders.
High Priest: Will you solemnly promise and swear to govern the Peoples of the Kingdom if Twice according to the respective laws and customs?
Cheayoung: I solemnly promise to do so.
High Priest: Will you do everything in your power to have Law and Justice to be executed in all your judgements?
Chaeyoung: I will.
The High Priest lifted the sword and gently put it on Chaeyoung's other shoulder.
High Priest: Will you to the utmost of your power, maintain the peace and unity of the Kingdom.
Chaeyoung: I will.
The High Priest lifted the sword. Chaeyoung stood and the High Priest went in front of Chaeyoung.
High Priest: Stand firm, and hold fast from henceforth this seat of royal dignity, which is yours by the authority of the Heavens. May the Heavens establish your throne in righteousness, that it may stand fast for evermore.
The High Priest lifted the sword high before laying it on Chaeyoung's shoulder. He then lifted it again and lay it on Chaeyoung's other shoulder.
The High priest lifted the sword and gave it to the royal guard. He then stepped beside Chaeyoung and turned facing the crowd.
High Priest: Behold, Kingdom of Twice, People of Kyria and People of Aevar. The Kingdom of Twice's new King, Hail King Chaeyoung!
The crowd erupted into a loud cheer as King Chaeyoung raised the royal sceptre. It was the loudest and the longest cheer ever heard by the people. Everyone was smiling as they cheered. This made Chaeyoung blush madly.
When the cheers died down. He was all smiles. He then looked at his right where Mina was. She gave him her widest gummy smile even mouthed 'I'm so proud of you'.
Then a second later Chaeyoung's smile were gone from his face as his body rocked then fell forward. He dropped to his knees.
Mina ran towards him. Momo was there first standing in front of Chaeyoung looking around with his bow raised. The royal guards encircled them with their swords raised and shield covering them.
Mina kneeled beside Chaeyoung. Mina screamed as she realized Chaeyoung was shot with an arrow on his chest. "No! Chaeyoung!"
