Prince Chaeyoung.
My knees went weak, eventually it gave up and I fell on the sand. I felt like my world crushed. They have her and now sailing across the sea, bringing her to Aevar then to Tyrian.
Tzuyu rushed to me and was asking what happened. When I didn't respond he took the parchment. Tzuyu then went to his knees in front of me.
"Chaeyoung, can you hear me?" He's shaking both my arms.
I looked at him. "They got her."
"Yes they do. That's why you have to get up. We'll think of something first. Don't give up without fighting."
He's right. I took a deep breath and gather my strength before standing up.
"I swear I'll kill him all if he ever lay a finger on her." I said as I turned and walked.
I turned to the General Ryun and said: "Send word to the port send here a Tyrian ship immediately."
I reached and mounted my horse. "Back to the castle. The King has to know."
At the castle, I told the king and he almost collapsed. I was beside him so I was able to catch him. Sana assisted as well. I could see she's fighting not to cry in front of the king. They brought him to his chambers to rest.
Me, Tzuyu and General Ryun began thinking about a plan. Few minutes later we were told to come to the King's chambers.
"What shall we do?" The King weakly said.
"I informed our informant in Tyrian. They're patrolling the seas, looking out for that lone ship. I asked them to spy on Jaryu." I answered.
"Why my Mina?" The king said while fighting his tears.
I was thinking about that too. Jaryu's poem is somehow looks like he's mocking me. It was addressed to me and mentioned he took a treasure. How did he knew what Mina is to me?
"Based on the poem, I... I think he purposely chose her... To get to me and talking about revenge." I looked at the king and kneeled. "Your highness, I... I can't express how sorry I am to have Mina involved in this. She would've..."
"Stand up son. She would've been dead a week ago if it wasn't for you. You saved her, and I believe you can again. I do not blame you for anything. Don't put this on you. Jaryu is the one to blame."
"Thank you, your highness." I said standing up.
He smiled then said: "What's the plan?"
"Time is running out, your highness. I need to go to her now." We told him what we have planned.
Half an hour later we were now riding to the coast. It'll be just me and the ship crew. A Tyrian ship was waiting for me there. Tzuyu and I fought for he won't let me go alone. In the end he eventually agrees and I told him to go back to the barracks and wait for my message.
As indicated in the plan, a day after 5 other Tyrian ships from the north would sail towards Aevar. It contains their dead soldiers.
It would take 2 days to get to Aevar then a day to Tyrian. The more days passed the more worried I become. I don't know what they're doing to Mina.
A day after we sailed, our informant from Tyrian messaged that everything is set. He also said that Jaryu have arrived with Princess Mina. She appeared unharmed and looked very presentable. Jaryu announced that the war on Kyria is still on going, that they're winning it and he even killed me.
He also said that he captured a Kyrian Princess which no one will touch for she is for him only. Servants from the Palace of Tyrian said she has her own room but with soldiers guarding her all the time.
I was relieved that she's not hurt though I know she's not okay. I do fear Jaryu will like Mina too much that he'll make her his. Just the thought of him touching her infuriates me.
I now regret why I haven't told her how I feel. The truth is Rowan is gone so I shouldn't worry about her love for Rowan. If we had the time, I would do everything I can to prove how much I love her.
What's happening now made me want to hate myself. I could've tried to get her from Rowan... but I didn't. Cause I know what is right and I'll do what is right.
I look at the stars and said to myself: Hang in there Mina. I'll come and get you.
It was hard to sleep nor eat. I forced myself to sleep by drinking a bit of mead. The next day I forced myself too eat too and exercise. I need to get ready for whatever it is I'm facing. I fear nothing except the fact that I'll lose her. I'll bet my life just to keep her safe.
