Princess Mina.

His eyes made me more scared as it shows lust. I could feel myself starting to tremble. He then took a deep breath, let me go then stepped away.

"Soon all of you will be mine, my princess or should I say soon to be queen." He smiled, turned and walked towards the door. "Pull yourself together. We have guests to entertain."

As soon as the door closes, I felt my knees gave in and I fell on the floor. I hugged myself as my body trembles. I hate him. But if I don't do anything, I will end up as his queen. I will never marry him! The thought of him touching, kissing me makes me want to vomit.

I drank some water and tried to calm myself down. A minute later Al came to fetch me. It was a dinner with 10 guests. I forced myself to eat and smile. All of the guests were men and I could feel their stare drilling in my bone.

I shifted my focus on the book in my room. I was halfway already and I let myself feel excited about reading more of it.

Then I jumped at the sound of glass crashing. I looked at Jaryu who looked angry. He then shoved whatever it is in front of him to the floor. I recognized it was the Tyrian general who's beside him. He might have said something to make him that angry.

"I see his head have gotten big. Keep talking to him, force him if you must. I did not assign him there to rule that kingdom. Make him remember he still answers to me!" He said the last part slamming his hand on the table. The force of it made the glasses that's near fell over.

He closed his eyes and took a deep breath. Seconds later he opened it and looked at us.

"Generals, I hope you know very well to whom you answer to. Who is your king! So, as I have ordered, gather all your troops and every man who can wield a sword. Do I make my self clear?!"

"Yes, My Lord." All of them answered.

He's gathering troops from all of Aevar's kingdom desperate to fight the Kyrians. His strategy is all about force. He's never wise in fighting his battle that's why he's losing.

He's that desperate to fight a losing the battle. He doesn't want to hurt his ego so he lied to his people. He even lied that he killed the infamous Prince Chaeyoung himself. Such a lie to fool his country yet I dare not say to anyone about the truth.

My mind wandered off to Chaeyoung, whom unlike Jaryu, are wise in his strategies in battle. I wonder where he is right now. As much as I don't want him to come, but a part of me wants him to save me. I am so scared of what will happen if Jaryu forced me to marry him. I'd rather be dead than to be his queen.

Prince Chaeyoung.

My hand turns into a fist as I saw that monster Jaryu held Mina by the neck. I could feel my anger brewing. I took my bow and readied my arrow then went back to the window and look through the telescope. I don't want to look yet I forced myself for I need to know what's happening.

Dero was kind enough to bring a telescope to me making it even easier to watch on Mina. At the same time It allowed me to hold my bow. With just one wrong move, I'm ready to strike any time.

How dare he touch her! My hands are shaking of anger. I thanked the heavens as he released Mina then left the room. I then lowered my bow still watching her as she fell on the floor clutching her chest.

My heart broke seeing how scared she must've been. I stepped away from the window and started pacing. I need to get her out of there. I spent hours trying to come up with a plan but nothing concrete enough to execute.

I sat down, disappointed on myself. A few hours later the door opened. Dero appeared with a tray on hand. He looked around and saw the tray on the table untouched.

"Your Highness, you need to eat. You need your energy..."

"My energy? I can't even do anything here." I stood and paced again. "I came here to save her yet I can't."

"I understand your highness, how frustrating this is but believe me we are trying our best to come up with a plan."

I looked at him. Dero has done a lot and still helping me.

"Don't get me wrong, I appreciate everything you did brother, I just feel frustrated seeing him getting too close to her." I then looked at him who's awkwardly standing. "please drop the honorifics."

"Ah... Uhm... Yes... Ch...Chae."

"That's it. Thank you Dero you've done so much already."

"I haven't done anything your..." He stopped as I looked at him. "I mean Chae. All I did was to keep you safe here and feed you."

"Which is a lot already. I would've been dead few days ago without a roof nor food. Or I would've been captured and tortured by Jaryu by now." I sat down by the table and started eating.

"I have news. Jaryu have been busy these past few days going to nearest kingdoms. He even invited to the palace those generals that he chose to take care of the farther kingdom."

"He's gathering more troops." I said thinking.

"Yes. Your idea of circulating rumours of him losing the war throughout Aevar worked. A lot of people are still talking about it secretly."

"He's desperate. Soon he might be forcing anyone that could yield a sword to go to war on foreign soil." Ideas came flooding in my mind making me smile.

"That's the first smile I've seen since you came here."

"It is..." I told him about my idea which took him by surprise.

I wrote down on a parchment our plan and have it sent to my brothers. Before Dero leaves he looked at me.

"Kyria is indeed lucky to have a leader like you. I still stand by what I said... That a wise leader like you is what we need to lead us to freedom. Good night Chae." He bowed before leaving.

Honestly I'm not sure if my idea would work but I do hope so. Cause if it does, I may not only save Mina...
