Prince Chaeyoung.

To be the one who save her doesn't mean you're entitled or she owes me her whole world. I never thought of that. But I do hope she could see how important she is for me.

I'm looking at her across the table as she finally looking at ease as she eats. I know for a fact that when she was still in captivation, she eats just to stay alive.

I do worry about her specially when we can't go home right away. It's not about being selfish that I don't want her to go home without me. It's about making sure that I'll safely bring her home.

I admit, though Jaryu is already gone, I'm still not at ease in regards to safety. There might be loyal followers out there that could be a threat. I just don't want to risk anything specially her safety.

After our dinner we went for a walk. There were a big pond at the end of the garden just behind the castle.

I stopped walking watching the pond, fascinated by how it's lit by the moonlight. I smiled when I suddenly remember something.

"Back when we're kids, I was 10 I think.  I was so tired of my training. On my break, I ran out of the castle and hid by the forest. I knew the forest by heart, so I knew where to hide where they couldn't see me. My tutor passed by several times yet he couldn't see me. He was frustrated for he's afraid my father will reprimand him. When he went away, I got out but then I saw him at the corner of my eye."

I sat down by the grass and looked at her, patting the area beside me. She then sat at where I pointed. I then continued.

"I panicked so I ran as fast as I could. When I realized I got farther away to a part of the forest I've never been before. I walked around to familiarize myself then I saw a huge pond. I wanted to dive in and swim but it's getting late. I'm already in trouble with me running away. So I decided to head back to the castle. The next day I went there with my brothers. As soon as we saw it, we strip our clothes and make a quick run then jumped. I was the first one to jump then Momo and Tzuyu last. When Tzuyu dived, he took a long time to surface we thought he's just fooling around but he's nowhere to be found so me and Momo panicked. We both dived and look for him. We then saw him at the bottom. We quickly grab him and swam towards the shore. He wasn't breathing, I tried to revive him. It took a while before he breathe on his own. I thought I lost him. That's the most scariest thing in my life. Or so I thought..."

I took a deep breath. "Not until I learned you were taken. It scared me so much that I thought the whole world had crashed on me." I then looked at her. She was already looking at me.

I went near and caressed her face with my hand.

"Aside from my family, I have never cared for anyone else this much..." I stopped. I stared at her in awe not just because of her beauty, but I felt as if everything is in place. The silence of the night, the dim light given by the moon, the peaceful sound of the water and most specially the presence of a princess who stole my heart.

I didn't realize I was getting nearer until her face was inches from mine. I was now staring at her lips. I slipped my hand from her cheeks towards her neck. I know I shouldn't do this... But it's as if I'm being seduced by her lips.

Then it slipped... "I love you Mina." I said before I closed the gap as my lips touched hers.

Oh no... Oh no... Oh no...

Those are the words in my head as I realized his face is getting closer. My eyes drifted from his eyes to his lips.

Mina! Why are you looking at hus lips! I don't know. Even once, I have never thought what it'll be like to be kissed. Not even being kissed by Rowan. But now... Seeing his lips this close I wonder how it'll...

"I love you Mina" I heard him whisper. I wouldn't believe if it I hadn't seen his lips move, confirming what he said. It's as if my heart fell, shocks rocked my whole body upon hearing those words.

And then his lips touched mine. My eyes went wide on the contact and surprised by the warmth it brought. It's even getting warmer as his lips slowly and gently moves. I stayed still while his lips moves as if caressing mine.

Then all of a sudden that certain warmness turned to something unfamiliar which shocked me. I panicked and moved my face away from his. His eyes opened and stared at me.

I couldn't look at him. I immediately stood and said. "I... it's getting late... I... I'll go now to my r..room. g'night..." I said the last word in a hurry. I think I heard him call my name in a low voice.

I walked as fast as I can. Once I reached the gazebo, I ran past it and towards the castle. I ran past Momo and Tzuyu by the stairs. They're both surprised seeing me running. Looks like they're on their way to their rooms. I didn't stop til I reached my room. I went in and closed the door. I leaned at the door trying to catch my breath. I slid down to the floor holding my chest. My heart's beating so fast. I don't know if it's because of me running or was it about the kiss... The kiss...

He kissed me... I suddenly stood shocked as if I just realized it now. He kissed me and I let him just like that. I began pacing around my room. Rowan had many attempts before but I didn't let him. But with Chaeyoung in his first attempt I let him? What!

Why? Why is it that with him I just let it be? It's like He don't give me time to think or was it I can't think when it comes to him. As if I'm always rooted to where I am waiting for whatever it is he'll do? And what's surprising is... I let him. I never even moved to back out or say something.

What's happening to me? What did he do to me to make me react this way?

My hand fell on my lips. He kissed me. His kiss felt different from Rowan's. His kiss made me warm and then... Ughhh... Something change on how I felt as he continue to kiss me. The warmth turns into heat that flows to my body. I have never felt like that before and it scared me.

I then flopped myself towards my bed face down. Then a whisper came into my head. "I love you Mina"...

My head immediately lifted which caused my bone to sound as if it cracked. At the same time Shocks runt through me...

He said he love me... Oh shit.
