Princess Mina.

Rowan knows how I hate It when he forgets to message me. It's been 4 days now.

We just received a letter from the spy. He says they were able to conquer a kingdom but unable to identify which kingdom. He was assigned on a different troop farther from the frontline. What shocked me is Rowan was at the front fighting with the Prince.

"Ugggh! It's hard enough to think he's with the enemy but it's much harder knowing he's fighting alongside with them. The very reason why he's there doing his mission." I said now more frustrated.

"Which is also part of his mission. He needs to do well to gain the Prince's trust." The general said.

"I hope he does so that Rowan can finish his mission right away." I stared at the window thinking of what he's doing right now.

"Princess, you look pale." The general said as he joined me by the window.

"It's hard to get sleep these days." I looked at him. "I worry and think about him everyday. I can't even do anything."

"He'll be mad at me for sure for not taking care of you like how he does."

"Well, he should be mad of himself then, it's his job to take care of me not to make me worry as hell."

We heard a knock and was startled to see my father by the door.

"Is there something I need to know?" He asked us.

I immediately went beside him.

"I was just asking the general news about Rowan. He haven't written me in 4 days now. I'm beginning to worry."

Father suddenly looked at the general who were now expressionless.

"I'm sure he has his reasons my dear. He'll be writing to you soon." He said patting my hand.

He and the general have been exchanging looks.

"My dear, would you be kind enough to leave me and the general to talk about stuff."

"Sure. I'd be.... Around..." I kissed my father while bowed at the general as he bowed to me first.

I was walking along the corridor with no direction my gaze fixed at nothing. I then notice a hand snapped in front of me which belongs to my sister.

"Yah,..." she said panting. "I've been calling you for many times now I'd even have to run to catch up with you."

"Sorry. Just... I'm... I don't know what to do. It sucks that I can't do anything." I said as I sat by the bench looking down at my hands.

"Each day, each hour, each minute felt like torture not knowing where he is, if he's safe, does he even eat properly there. Is he still...I..."

Sana took hold of my hands.

"Yah, it's Rowan we're talking about here. The Rowan who ran away and stayed for a night at the woods. The same Rowan who was able to create a fire, hunt whatever animal he could hunt then roast it for dinner. He was just fifteen at that time what more now when he knows a lot more?"

"yeah, but it's different..."

"Mina, he's there cause he's the best of all the guys in the castle. Our father and his didn't chose him for nothing. So don't belittle him by worrying too much."

If she only knew how much danger Rowan is in right now. My blood seems to boil thinking he's now working for that ruthless prince.

"I know... I don't doubt his skills even for a second. I just can't help but worry for he's with that arrogant, selfish, blood thirsty, monster of a Prince."
