Vivian's POV

I knocked on the already opened door of the study of Scott Mansion.

Arthur uncle noticed me removing his gaze from some sort of file.
"Oh, Vivian... Come in dear."
He said and closed the file and kept it beside welcoming me.

"Good Evening Uncle."
I greeted with a smile getting in.

"Evening evening, come sit."
I sat infront of him on the couch.

"Would you like to have some tea?"
He was about to order the maids.

"No Uncle... Don't serve me like a guest. I'm like your daughter right?"
He smiled and nodded.

"OK, so What brings you here?"

"Yeah... Hayley had called me. Since your phone was busy as you have been into a mission lately. So she called me to inform you about.. something."

"What is it? Did she completed the mission?"
He had hope in his eyes.

"No actually, Uncle... She told me that Adrian had planned a party and many mafias will be there. So she can't kill him today. She needs to postpone it."

"I was knowing it, is there something new?... She had been postponing the date for like so many days. Her heart is ruling over her mind. And this will cause her so much pain."

"Uncle... Why not forget the past? whatever happened! Let's end this war. Your daughter really loves him. At least for her."

He smiled.
"I love Hayley so much that I can get to my knees for her happiness.
Mafias are ready to die for their daughters but only a dad can get on knees for her daughter."

I stared at him as he continued.

"I'm ready to forgot everything. I'm ready to forgive my late best friend, because of whom my love died.
I'm ready to say sorry even to Adrian and his brother, whose parents I have killed.
But do you think same response will come from opposite side?"

"What do you mean?"

He stood up and I stood as well in respect for him that I genuinely do. He while going to window continued saying.
"I have killed their parents, brutally. The day they will find out that Hayley is my daughter, they will not kill her but will make her life a living hell."

He stopped in front of window and stared outside.
"And how can a father see, her daughter suffering pain... And that's what they want to see, me breaking down for my daughter... I can't let them hurt my Hayley."

"Then Hayley said that she will leave him and will marry whomever you chose. She was ready to give up on her feelings. Just he asked that let him stay alive."

"If in future he finds out about Hayley's real identity. He will not only torture her but her future family too, Vivian. And that will hurt her to the core... I can't see her in pain."

"On considering it uncle, if she kill him, she won't face any physical pain but will go in depression. She will hate herself for killing her own love with her own hands."
He looked down knowing I stated the truth.

"I told her every time to stop her feelings, but seeing a gentleman like Adrian is, not falling in love is difficult... He is really an angel."

"I know he has done many good things, Vivian. It doesn't proves that he is not a mafia. It doesn't states that he will not torture my daughter."
His voice covered anger but more than anger he was scared, scared for his daughter.
