|Olivia's POV|

I went over to Quincy and our other friends. He pulled me into a hug.

"Hey, Liv."

He handed me a beer, but I politely declined.

"Hey."

"You alright?"

"Yeah, I'm fine. Just not drinking tonight."

I looked around to see where Mikayla went off to. I spotted Addison with a group of friends.

"I saw her just leave with Steph. She's in good hands, don't worry."

My sister just doesn't listen.

"You and Stephen still friends, huh?"

"We'll always be cool people. So, you not drinking for a reason tonight?"

I shrugged.

"Just not in the mood. My dad gave us this whole lecture about no weed and liquor. Plus, I was supposed to be keeping an eye on my sister and cousin."

"Oh right, Bianca's sister. She's a freshman, right?"

"Yeah."

"Well, looks like she can handle her own."

I scoffed.

"We were all trained to handle our own, but that doesn't mean I don't look out for my family at all times."

"I hear you. That's what I like about you."

He took a step closer to me, wrapping his arm around my waist.

"Can we go somewhere alone and talk?"

"I need to be back by the time the bonfire ends. I have a curfew."

"Damn, your parents really have you on a leash."

I hated when people made comments like that.

"I'm not a damn dog and that's their rules. It is what it is."

He looked down at his watch.

"I got you. So, you coming or no?"

"Give me a second."

I went over to my cousins.

"I'm going to go talk to Quincy, I'll be back. Addison is over there. Mikayla left with Stephen."

"Of course she did," Ava mumbled.

"Mikayla is always doing what Mikayla wants to do. We'll be here when you get back."

I looked down at my phone to see where Mikayla was

"Mickey is still in the vicinity so she'll pop back up. Text me or whatever if you need me."

They nodded and I left with Quincy.

"I would take you to my house, but my parents are home and that's not much privacy."

"I have a place we can go."

Logan was going to kill me if he found out I had other people in his house. I came here pretty often to get away and knew the property like the back of my hand. Going inside, I quickly turned off the alarm.

"Who's house is this?"

"One of the properties my family owns."

"No one stays here?"

"In and out. Anyways, want something to drink?"

"What do you have?"

"Whatever you want. There's a bar and I'm sure the fridge is stocked with drinks."
