she places her phone on her bedside table and laid back into her bed, trying to ignore any of the body aches she was going through, though thankfully they weren't bad and it was just more like an annoying ache. if she felt like this, she wondered how chenle was feeling.

life before meeting your soulmate was easy. if you felt sick it was because you were sick, not because you needed to see your soulmate. you constantly have to see someone, they are the reason you are still alive. and even though everyone says soulmates fall in love pretty quickly, yeeun refused to believe that was true. she has heard of some stories where people never fell in love.

as much as she didn't like the thought of having a soulmate right now, the thought of never finding true love scared her.

pushing the thoughts to the side she closed her eyes and rolled over to the side, planning to take a small nap to help ignore the ache. despite the light pouring into her room through the window, managed to relax herself enough that she fell asleep.

walking through the company felt different this time around. It was her third time at the company building and she managed to find her way a bit easier and walk with more confidence in her steps.

yeeun raised her sunglasses off her face and onto the top of her head as she looked around to see if she could see chenle anywhere near. when she confirmed he wasn't in this area she decided to walk towards the elevators as that was the place she seemingly knew best.

she turned the corner and saw chenle, leaning his back against the wall, watching something on his phone. as she approached him they both felt the tingling feeling, it was such a slight feeling but it distracted them from the ache. he looked up and smiled when he saw her.

"do you want to sit somewhere here or somewhere more private?"

her mind began questioning everything. despite this being his company, his work place, what if someone took photos of them together and uploaded it? without wanting to risk anything more than she is already risking it by meeting up with him, though she didn't have much choice, she choice the latter.
"more private, if it's okay?"

he smiled and clicked the button for the elevator. they stepped inside and the small space between them only made her realise perhaps she does like being around him, it made her feel better. Her mood became brighter and her motivation to finish her work grew.

the elevator doors opened and chenle lead her towards a room, when opened it seemed to be a lounging space. it had a table and couch and even a counter with bowls and cutlery.

yeeun took a seat at the end of the table and placed her bag down onto the table. she grabbed her laptop out and instantly opening it, letting it start up as she grabbed a book out and then put her bag on the back of her chair.

chenle sat on the chair next to her, though he just put his leg up on the chair and played on his phone as she began studying in the quiet room. neither of them spoke, simply being in each others presence and doing their own things.
