perhaps she shouldn't have done that.

she arrived home and did as she said she would. immediately she took a long warm shower and then studied until the early morning, feeling completely fine when she went to bed.

though when she woke up, it was past midday and her head pounded with a strong headache, plus her throat was beyond sore. she sat up and instantly held her head, squeezing her eyes shut as the light coming from the window hurt her head more.

she got out of her bed and shuffled her feet along the floorboards until she reached the cold bathroom tiles. she opened the cabinet and grabbed some medicine, mentally grateful to minhee who left it behind before she left.

she took the pill and crawled her way back to her bed. she needed to rest all day today if she wanted to attend her class tomorrow. it was one of the few classes that you needed to attend, she couldn't miss it just because she was sick.

she crawled under her covers and grabbed her phone, suddenly remembering chenles offer from last night. she should've taken him up on the offer, but she didn't want him to go out of his way to help her with something she could do herself.

she clicked on his message from last night, remembering how she saw it but never replied as she didn't want to become distracted from her studies.

she didn't mean to not reply to him but she closed her eyes for a little too long and managed to fall back asleep. her being actually sick only added to the soulmate sickness making her feel extremely drowsy, enough to fall asleep again even after 13 hours of sleep.
