I'M NOT WORKING on Ian Dickens.

I don't give a shit about him.

Rather, I give a shit about personal cases I've been working on - and keeping an eye on Margeux Price.

I know her and Sasha have teamed up, and despite knowing little about how she deals with situations such as this one - I still feel her team is the one that will end up killing him.

Key word; killing

I heard Keagan and Liam's group is trying to quieten him without murder. I'm not sure if they'll be able to do it.

But out of all the teams trying to kill Ian? My money is on Sasha and Margeux.

Not because they are good. But because they are reckless.

"Is she fitting in well?" My father asks as he stacks some papers neatly on his desk.

"She has friends."

"Anyone giving her a hard time?"

I think back to Otis who is now known as OT thanks to Margeux's nicknaming, "Well they tried."

"And I'm assuming Ian Dickens isn't interesting enough for you to care." He muses.

"There's nothing to solve," I shrug, "Only to silence."

"What are you working on then?" He asks.

I could tell him many things. The truth is not one of them.

"Thought I'd pick up The Zodiac Killer and see if I could do it." I shrug.

He laughs slightly, "Well aren't your side interests normal."

"Oh please," I scoff, "Don't act like you don't steal ancient artefacts and make collections out of them for your hobby."

"I don't do that."

"Need I bring up the Mona Lisa?" I raise a brow.

"How do you know it's the real one?" He asks, crossing his arms, challenging me.

"Because you'd be pathetic to put up a fake." Is all I have to say.

He hums as if proud.

"You coming home tonight?" I ask now, the conversation steering from a questionable one to a domestic one so easily.

"I'm afraid I'll be busy again," He sighs, "Your father and I have put out the days we are free this month though. We should be able to catch up next week."

"Ooh lovely, we can talk about all the dead people we've seen since the last time we all sat down together." I scrunch my face up sarcastically before standing and walking to leave his office.
