Jema was quiet when I asked her about Daniel.
Bakit kaya? Did I say something wrong?

"It's okay lablab, walang problema sa akin dahil may sasabihin talaga ako sayo tungkol sa kanya." sabi niya.

Yumuko ito at naging mailap ang mata niya sa akin.
"I hope you will understand me lablab. I am sorry na agad." she said.
"Hey, bakit ka nagso sorry? No need to say sorry po. I am just asking kung kailan kayo last nagkita." sabi ko.
She bites her lip, grabs my hand and sat down beside me.
I can feel the tension immediately. What is she about to say?

Mabilis naman akong inalalayan ni Jema para makahiga uli.
"Dahan dahan naman lablab, ayan tuloy." she said
"Anong nangyari, bakit ka niya pinuntahan? Kung hindi pa kita tinanong mukhang hindi mo pa sasabihin sa akin." tuloy tuloy na sabi ko.
Nakakatampo si Jema.
"Please, makinig ka muna." sabi niya.
Oo nga naman Ella.
Tumango na lang ako para masimulan niya na ang kwento sa akin. Napapamura ako sa mga sinasabi niya. Ang dami ko palang hindi alam.

"Lablab?" tanong niya when I didn't say anything.
