"I am so happy and honored to have finally met your family, Love." I genuinely said.
Kadarating lang namin from Laguna. Hindi na ako tumuloy sa loob ng condo ni Jema since late na rin, dito lang ako sa may pintuan niya.
"But you have already met them before." Jema replied.
"I know but this one is more official hehe. Like, I'm your partner na, right?" sabi ko.
"Sabagay. Ganun din naman sila lablab. Alam kong masaya sila na pumasyal ka at nag effort para makilala at maka bonding sila even for a very short time." sagot nito.
I smiled.
"They are all nice people, like you. That was a well spent and fantastic weekend. Sana maulit pa." sabi ko.
"Thank you lablab. Nag enjoy din sila at ako, sa company mo. Of course, mauulit yun ah. Pagdating ni ate Jovs, sure na babalik tayo doon." sagot niya.
Oo nga. Sa video call ko lang nakita at nakausap si ate Jovs nga. Mukhang kwela din like Mafe. Feeling ko magkakasundo kami.
"O pano, I'll go ahead na ha. Para makapag rest ka na din." I said.
"Yeah, Monday tomorrow, work again, hayyyy." she replied while rolling her eyes.
"Hahaha, cute mo." sabi ko.
"I know." sabi niya.
Hinapit ko ang beywang niya sabay dampi ng labi ko sa labi niya. She wrapped her arms around me. Medyo tumagal ang yakapan namin.
"Good night, Love." I whispered.
"Good night. Mag ingat ka ha. Text me later po. I love you." she replied.
"I love you." sabi ko.
Kumalas na ako at hinintay muna siyang makapasok sa loob bago ako tumalikod. Nakangiti akong pumunta sa tapat ng elevator. Ilang sandali lang at nakasakay na ako. Walang tao sa loob.
I was about to push the button to close the door when a hand stopped it. Automatic na pinindot ko ang open sign, hinintay ko muna ang lalaking naka cấp, na makapasok bago ko pinindot para sumara na ang pinto.
"Thanks." mahina pero dinig ko na sabi niya.
The person went behind me so I didn't see his face.
I didn't move, just stood near the door and waited for the lift to go down. Nakatingin lang ako sa harap ng may napansin ako sa reflection ng mirror sa likod ko.
Ito ang gusto ko sa mga elevators, may mga salamin inside. The purpose of having mirrors within the lift is to allow you to see what everyone is doing inside.
At ito na nga, like right now, nakita ko yung ginagawa ng tao sa likod ko. The person looks like he is about to attack me. Nakataas ang isang kamay niya na nasa tapat ng ulo ko.
Oh shit! Nakaamba na nga ang mga kamay niya sa likod ko at aatakehin ako from behind. I moved fast and ducked. Halos sumubsob siya sa wall.
"What do you think you're doing?" I asked sabay kuha ng cellphone ko.
I readied it to take a photo or video in case this person will intentionally harm me.
"Oops sorry." sabi nito.
He stepped backward but he nearly stumbled on the door.
Lasing ba ito?
When he recovered, hinarap niya na ako. Doon ko nakita ang mukha niya.
"It's you!?" bulalas ko.
"Yes, it's me! Fancy seeing you here, Ella De Jesus." he replied while smirking.
