"Buenos días Mon amour" I hear a raspy voice whisper in my ear. I smile as I turn around to face Charles. We kiss each other. "Practicing your Spanish?" I reply. "Carlos has been teaching me" he laughs.
I smile as I cup his face and admire his eyes. I've been so happy this past week with Charles. I was glad we were giving it another chance. We both took a break from training and our usual work this past week to hang out and enjoy your time together. But since the Barcelona Grand Prix was coming up, Charles had to train. So starting tomorrow we would go back to our routines.
Charles and I get up and out of bed, and he helps me make the bed first thing. We walk over to brush our teeth and wash our faces, before walking out to the kitchen. We begin to make a quick avocado toast for breakfast and take a seat at the kitchen island.
"So what should we do on our last day of staycation?" He asks as he looks over at me. I shrug, causing him to shake his head. I'm terrible at making decisions and he knows it. "Maybe we should go karting? Is there a spot nearby?" He smirks. Knowing last time that he beat me multiple times before letting me win one last time. "Just be ready to lose this time" I smirk back. He laughs. Obviously he's faster than me, but best believe I'm still going to try and beat him.
We begin to search for places nearby and finally find one that's only a half hour away. We clean up the kitchen as soon as we finish eating. I walk over to start a load of laundry while Charles showers.
When he's finished, I go ahead and shower so we can both get ready. As I'm brushing my hair in the bathroom, he walks behind me and wraps his arms around my waist. "You're so beautiful" he kisses my cheek. Never failing to make me blush, "thank you love. You're so sweet" I reply turning around to face him. I get on my tiptoes to reach his lips and place a soft kiss. "We should go before we change plans" he winks, causing me to laugh. I nod and we walk out of the room. I grab my purse and follow behind him as we head outside.
As usual, he opens the passenger door for me before walking over to his side. We grabs my hand and places it in his on his lap. He starts the car and drives away from the house.

We get to the track, and there doesn't seem to be many people here. Probably because it's early. We walk inside and pay for our tickets. The employees recognize us, and they ask Charles for a picture.
"Si quieres, yo tomo la foto" I tell the fan, he smiles and hands me his phone so I can take the picture. "Smile" I say, causing them both to laugh and then smile. I take a few pictures and hand them back the phone. He thanks us and hands us our helmets.
We head out to the track, and begin to take a look. Another employee tells us the rules quickly, as we both choose our karts.
