It's been so hard keeping the pregnancy a secret. I've wanted to tell Christian so badly, but Charles and I promised we wouldn't tell anyone until today. Christian had the weekend off, so he was flying to Barcelona to spend the weekend with us. We took the opportunity to throw a small party with our closest friends to announce the pregnancy. The only people that knew were our parents.
Charles and I finished having breakfast and are on our way to pickup Chris from the airport. We grab some coffee on the way there, and talk about the excitement of telling everyone.
We arrive at the airport and as soon as we pull up, I see a very lost Christian standing outside. I laugh, as I open the door to get out.
"Chris!" I yell as I run up to him. He smiles and pulls me into a hug. "Hey kiddo, I've missed you so much" he says holding me in his arms. "Me too" I reply. He kisses my forehead and let's go.
"Nice to see you mate" Charles says as he pulls Chris into a hug. "You too, happy to see you two together again" Chris smiles and then winks at me. Little does he know....
We load his bags into the trunk and all get inside the car. I pass Christian the coffee we bought for him, and then we drive back home.
We arrive and Christian sets his things down in his room. Since originally this was Chris and I's home, I kept his room as it was when he left. "By the way, we're having some friends over tonight. We have some news to share" I say as he sits down on the couch. "You know I hate surprises, tell meee" he whines. I shake my head, causing him to roll his eyes. "Patience" I reply.
We start to set up the house with tables and chairs for everyone. Then we each head over to start getting ready since people will arrive soon.

First to arrive, is Carlos. He walks in and greets us both. Then proceeding to beg Charles to tell him the surprise. I look at Charles to let him know he Better not tell him. The next to arrive are Sira, Ferran, Pedri, and Gavi. They discretely walk in, and go straight to me. I hug them each, and thank them for coming.
Everyone is anxious to find out what the surprise is, and I can't help but laugh. A few of the other drivers show up as well.
"First things first, time to eat" Charles says, causing everyone to laugh. Everyone serves themselves and we all sit at one table. I'm glad everyone was able to come, and we're all getting along so far. I can tell Pedri and Charles try to avoid each other a bit, but at least they're both trying to be calm and not cause any problems.
We finish eating, and I can't help but smile with excitement. "You're scaring us" sira jokes as I can't hide my excitement. "I'm so nervous" I reply. Charles gets up and walks over to me.
"Ready princess?" He says grabbing my hand. I smile and nod. We walk over to the room to grab a small basket and walk back as everyone looks at us. Charles holds it behind his back to cover it.
"Before we show you all, we just wanted to thank you all for coming. It means so much to us that you're here" I say. "Yes, thank you. And to all of you, you are the most important people in our lives besides our family. We care about each and every one of you as if you were family, and we love you all" Charles adds on. They smile and cheer. "Now, for the big announcement" I smirk. Charles slowly reveals the basket and tilts it so everyone can see. Suddenly we hear gasps and then clapping and cheering. "I knew it!" Sira says as she smiles.

"We're pregnant!" Charles and I say in sync. They all immediately get up and continue to cheer. One by one they start to walk up to us. "Sorry I didn't tell you earlier Chris, I promised-" "Kiddo, it's okay! I'm just so happy for you. You're going to be an amazing mother. I love you kiddo" Chris says with a slight tear in his eye. I pull him into a hug. He then walks over and congratulates Charles. "Enhorabuena! So happy for you both. This is amazing" Ferran says hugging me as well. "Yes, I knew it! I knew something was up since you didn't drink with us the other night" sira laughs. "Gracias. You guys are too sweet" I smile. Pedri walks up shyly with a smile. "Congratulations princesa. You deserve this happiness. You'll be a great mother, I'm happy for you" he says. I can tell he means what he says, but part of me sees a bit of sadness in his eyes. "Thanks Pedro. That means a lot for you to say that, I know this might be weird but-" "No worries. I'm just glad I can still be a part of your life" he replies. He kisses my cheek and pulls me into a hug.
In a moment where I want to be really happy I also feel guilty, and I know I shouldn't.
Everyone sits back down and we continue to celebrate and talk about it all. They are all so kind and supporting which is just amazing. Pedri distances himself a bit, but he still talks to me here and there. I know him, and I can tell he's hurt. I don't blame him, I'd feel the same. But there's not much I can do to fix the situation. I try and shrug it off so Charles doesn't think I'm upset.
I just hope we can keep being friends and it won't hurt him.
