A variety of Forest clans joined them. When Toruk Makto calls to them, they listen. However, war is still war. And war is dangerous. Denahi sat on the hammock as she began to paint her skin, "I do not want to see you out there, Kata." Mukata watched in curiosity as she painted herself, lending a hand to paint stripes on her back.

She didn't want him in the war. Nobody wanted their brother to be in such a dangerous situation. Mukata stepped back at her words, "You don't want me— the greatest asshole ever— to help win this war?" But that was not the point. Denahi was not sure if this war could be won.

Yes, they had thousands of their people helping them, but they were fighting gunships and weapons with bow and arrows. "It is dangerous. I do not want anything to happen to you..." She warned him after not finding his words amusing in the slightest.

"And what about you? What if you die? What do I do then?" Denahi looked up at her brother when he finished his words. Her hand immediately pressed onto his shoulder before pulling his chin down to look at her, "Nothing will happen to me, Kata."

That is a promise she would make, but wasn't sure she could keep. But, what she did know, was that she would not leave Mukata alone. He needed her, she was his sister.

His mom when times got desperate. "I see you, Kata," Denahi whispered to him before mounting Riti, securing herself. Mukata sighed, this could be the last time he will ever see her again, "I see you, Nahi."

Denahi let out an imitation sound and Riti began to saw in the sky alongside other Ikran. However, when she saw the size of the aircraft compared to the Ikran's, Denahi couldn't deny the chills across her flesh. And she had to swallow that fear and replace it with confidence. To win this war for Jake, for Mukata, her people and herself.

Her stomach stretched as she steadied the bow in her hands, letting the arrow hit an aircraft driver straight in the heart. The plane headed towards the ground, followed by a loud explosion and orange flames. "That was good, baby, keep it up," Jake praised her through the comm attached in her ear, a sheepish smile growing on her face. And now the humans were on high alert.

There weapons were good, but nothing compared to the Na'vi fighting for their home. The once clean air was beginning to fill with black, toxic smoke and almost blinded Denali's sight. But when Denahi told Riti to swivel around bullets locking onto her, a familiar arrow landed on the aircraft.

"Yes! Fuck you!" And that familiar voice. Denahi whipped her head back to find her brother on his Ikran, Hua. "Kata, I told you to stay put!" Denahi shouted at her brother, both of them flying deep into the trees.

And Denahi felt her heart drop when she heard more gunfire. Her skin grew in bumps. Her ears twitching at the sound. "Dive, Kata!" But, he didn't move on time.

The pained cries of bullets hitting Hua's flesh was heard and the Ikran falling down to the ground was seen. Denahi followed Hua and Mukata down to the green grass.

"Mukata, you idiot, I told you to—" Hua laid stone-cold on a trunk of a fallen tree. "No, no..." Denahi repeated before running towards the heavy-breathing Mukata. Her hand pressed onto the gushing wound on his chest, feeling the blood splatter. "No, Kata. Stay with me. Stay with me..." She cried out, pressing harsh onto his wound.

Mukata coughed up blood, "It hurts!" His moans of pain made Denahi's ears fall down. "I know, I know," Denahi eased him, her head falling down to his and whispered words of comfort, "It is okay. I am here. You are going to be okay."

Tears fell down Mukata's cheeks as she shook his head, "Will I be with mom and dad?"

Her chest got heavier. Tears whelmed in her eyes, "No, Kata. You will stay here... with me. You will always be with me." His breathing became more strangled almost like his lungs couldn't contain anymore and Mukata's heartbeat slowed down.

"I am okay, Nahi. I will be okay..." Mukata gave her a smile. One last smile. Denahi pressed her forehead against his chest, keeping her brother close to her soft hold.

"Please, Great Mother!" But, nothing could help Mukata anymore. When she lifted her head to speak to him, Denahi noticed all the colour hand drained from him. His bioluminescent spots no longer glowed. His breathing no longer staggered. A peaceful and long slumber he now laid in. "Oh, Kata..." She cried out as she hugged him, begging Eywa to bring him back. He was the last of her family, her brother— her son. A mother she didn't want to be, but a mother she became just for him.

And she needed justice for him.

Her whole mind went blind. Nothing but rage. She laid him down one last time before connecting her kuru with Riti.

She will avenge her brother. And killing Quaritch was how she would do it. Especially since her anger only grew as she watched Jake and Quaritch fight. "Ma'Jake!" Denahi called out to him, letting him know she had found him. Riti grabbed Quaritch's armour with her claws and flung him in the air.

"Son of a bitch!" Quaritch shouted before his armour stood up. Denahi jumped off Riti and grabbed her bow and arrow. But, he was quick. His armour ran towards Denahi and threw her against a tree trunk. Her cries of pain could be heard as she landed on the ground, reaching round to hold onto her back. But, Quaritch was an idiot. Nobody can hurt Denahi when Jake was around.

"How does it feel to betray your own race?" Jake did it for a reason. He did it for them. "You think you're one of them? Time to wake up," Quaritch walked towards the bunker and smashed the window open.

"Ma'Jake?" Denahi questioned. He was in there. His human self was in there. A human who couldn't breath Pandoran air. She mustered the courage to stand against her immense pain, grabbing her bow.

And when Quaritch held an unconscious Jake in the air, it was her time.

Her time to avenge Mukata. To take back everything that was took from her. Denahi's arrow landed on Quaritch's heart which caused him to stumble back before another one landed in his head for extra measure. The toxic substance on the arrow would have killed him in ten seconds, but Denahi needed to make sure he would die.

"We did it..." Denahi sighed in defeat when Quaritch fell down to the ground. She turned around to Jake and found him unconscious once again, "Oh... no."

Her large body climbed through the small window on the bunker. Her heart sinking as she watched Jake struggle to breathe.

"I can do it..." She whispered to him before clasping the mask on his face properly. His hand reached to her jaw, the size difference was amusing since he was usually bigger.

"I see you," He told her, his thumb stroking against her soft skin. "I see you," Denahi responded to him. Jake smiled, she even accepted him in human form.
