This place had become their favourite. It was simple. A stream of the lake. But, it was peaceful and quiet. And with their children splashing around it was loud. Giggles of happiness and squeals of excitement could be heard above their splashes. Denahi sat perched on the bed of the lake, her thighs being accompanied by Malhua's cheek. Neteyam stuck close to the shore with Tuk, diving underneath to find pretty rocks.

Whilst Kiri and Lo'ak fought over a Toruk wooden figure that Jake had carved for them. "Stop fighting over that!" Jake shouted at the two of them. Both of them dropped the Toruk figure in fear and swam into the deep end.

"Momma..." Jake's face twisted after realising he had woke their littlest one. He moved towards Denahi and picked Malhua up, resting her over his shoulder. Malhua liked the water— loved the water. Swimming with Jake was her favourite activity. Lo'ak's favourite activity was to fly with Riti. "It is mine!" Lo'ak shouted at Kiri.

Denahi looked over at them, the figure being pulled between their hands. A chuckle escaped her mouth before finding her Riti figure in her woven basket, "Lo'ak, come." He gasped when he saw the Riti figure, completely disregarding the Toruk one.

Jake looked at his son in shock. Toruk was his mighty Ikran, and Lo'ak would rather play with Riti. "Do not be jealous, Ma'Jake. We all know Riti is much loved..." Denahi replied to his sudden shock.

"Yeah, yeah, mama," Her head snapped towards him and warned Jake with a single glance. Something about that petname burned within Denahi's chest. Goosebumps raising across her azure flesh. She couldn't decide whether she liked it, or not. "Ma'Jake, why don't we have a date night tonight?" Denahi questioned as her mate continued to play with Malhua in the shallow waters.

He looked up at her and smiled, "Why? You looking for somethin'?" Denahi's eyes widened before she stood and walked into the water, "Maybe..." Her figure completely passed his and walked to Neteyam and Tuk. Jake tutted his tongue and whispered something to Malhua.

"Mom, look!" Neteyam exclaimed before handing Denahi a blue and white-coloured broken shell. Her lips widened at the pearlescent shell, finding it to be one of the prettiest she had seen before. "Shall I make it into a necklace?" Denahi asked.

Tuk clawed at her knees which Denahi responded to picking her up. "Will you?" He asked her with gleeful tone. She smiled down at her son, "Anything for you, sweet boy."

Jake continued to watch from afar. His attention still on his daughter, but most of it on his mate. How natural she was at being a mother. Yes, she somewhat had experienced it with Mukata, but never like this. He admired how she cared for them all the same, never putting one before the other. She would do anything for all of them.

"I feel you staring, Ma'Jake..." Denahi mentioned to him. He smiled to himself before looking up at her with such confidence, "Is it a crime to stare at my mate?" Denahi shook her head in response.

"Come on. Let us get the kids to Neytiri for the night," Denahi said before taking Neteyam's hand leading him from the water.

Jake sorted Kiri, Lo'ak and Malhua. "So... What do you have planned?" He asked her.

She could only respond with a chuckle.
