Everything had seemed to be going down.

First, Lo'ak and Neteyam have a unresolved fight with Ao'nung and his friends.

Secondly, Lo'ak goes missing after the fight due to Ao'nung's terrible treatment.

Now, this.

Denahi leaned over Kiri's body, hand gripping onto hers as she impatiently waited for her eldest daughter to wake from a seizure.

Her mind replayed many prayers to Eywa.

Waiting with tear-filled ears and hoping her squeezing will wake her daughter up.

Denahi's head lifted up as she watched Ronal and Tsireya walk in, "Thank Eywa!"

Ronal looked at the Avatar's in disgust and confusion, "Am I needed here?"

Denahi nodded her head before quickly ushering the Avatar's away from Kiri.

Ronal knealed down and began to poke Kiri's body with an unknown substance— Tuk happily holding the pot as she watched in amusement.

She blew onto Kiri's skin, exiting in the air.

Denahi bit onto her fingernails, watching as Kiri hadn't seemed to stir into consciousness yet.

So, she continues to do it.

Until, Kiri slowly opened her eyes.

Denahi's heart began to sink before leaning down to Kiri and holding her hand again.

"Oh, Kiri..." Denahi said as Kiri started to cry.

"Kiri! You're awake," Tuk gasped.

"My strong, strong daughter," Denahi cried before pulling Kiri to her chest and hugging her close.

Kiri's arm wrapped around Denahi's shoulders as she continued to cry into the warmth of her mothers hold.

"It's okay. You're okay. I'm here..." Denahi hushed into Kiri's arm.

Jake watched from afar as Denahi cared for their daughter.

He stepped forwards and bent down, joining their hug as he soothed Kiri's short hair.

After the night dawned of them, Jake decided to drag Denahi to their familiar spot behind all the village and in the jungle.

She watched as he paced up and down.

Knowing something seemed to bother him.

Denahi, just, didn't know what.

She stood and placed her hands onto his arm and shoulder, Jake resting his on her waist.

"What is troubling you, Ma'Jake?" She asked.

A low grumble left his lips— his mind racing with what Norm and Max had told him before.

"It's about Kiri..." Jake started.

Denahi's ears dropped, readying herself for the diagnosis to her sudden seizure.

He didn't want to cause more stress on her.

Jake knew it wasn't good for their baby.

But, he also needed to protect Kiri.

Denahi knowing would do that. They could both prevent another seizure happening, not wanting to have the heartbreak of Kiri dying.

"You can tell me," Denahi said after feeling Jake's muscles tense in her gentle, simple touch.

"It's.. I don't know how to explain this. Kiri has epilepsy. Connecting triggers it," Jake explained before watching as Denahi's face dropped.

Her heart fell into her stomach.

Connecting was the only way Kiri could ses Grace.

When they moved from the forest, she lost all sight of Grace's Avatar and her smart videos.

"No, no! How will she see Grace?" Denahi asked in complete confusion.

Tears whelmed in her eyes.

Denahi wouldn't know what she would do if she couldn't see her parents, or Mukata, again.

The absolute pain she would feel.

Jake's hand moved to her cheek, making Denahi concentrate on the conversation.

"If she connects, Nahi, we don't know what that could do to her," Jake explained.

Denahi covered her mouth in shock.

How will they explain to their little girl, she cannot see her mother again?

"We were lucky the kids were with her..." Jake continued to talk but the words didn't soak in.

"Ever? She cannot connect ever again?" Asked Denahi.

Jake nodded his head in response.

Her sweet daughter didn't deserve this.
