The sweet sound of their song could be heard.
Denahi sat next to Mukata, holding his hand for both their comfort as she sung lyrics.
It was a song to call out Eywa.
To calm all Na'vi, and beg Eywa to help what has happened to them.
To make their home how it was again.
But, as a large shadow filled the Tree of Souls, all terror broke out again.
Denahi watched with wide eyes at Toruk flew down to their area, instantly lunging in front of Mukata to protect him.
Until, she saw he jumped from Toruk.
Her Jake.
He walked through the crowd, noticing as they all touched and worshiped him— for he was Toruk Makto.
He didn't bother to interact with anybody else, making his way towards Denahi.
Her eyes closed in relief.
Glad to see Jake was safe, and alive.
She didn't hesitate when Denahi jumped into his body, arms taggling around his neck as he laced her waist with his.
"I never want to loose you, again," Denahi whispered, him pressing a soft kiss on her neck.
"You never will," Jake pulled away from her.
Denahi held his jaw, "You are Toruk Makto."
Jake nodded his head before looking back at the great banshee before all their eyes.
He was extremely proud of himself, proud that Toruk chose him of all people.
And proud he could capture him.
"Tsu'tey, son of Areyo, I stand before you ready to serve the Omatikaya people. You are Olo'eyktan, and you are a great warrior. I can't do this without you," Jake says.
Tsu'tey looks at Jake and then back at Toruk.
Now, he realises who he is facing.
"Toruk Makto," Tsu'tey pressed his hand against Jake's shoulder, "I will fly with you."
Jake nodded, "My friend is dying. Grace is dying."
Denahi looked at Mukata, watching as his face crumbled into sadness.
Her shoulders shrugged, sorrow hurting her bones.
"I beg the help of Eywa..." Jake said.
They all agreed, seated on the floor and spinning their bodies in circles.
Jake carried Grace through the crowd, her eyes scanning the area she had never stepped in before.
Even in pain, her face was full of admiration.
"I need to take some samples," Grace spoke.
Jake and Denahi chuckled before placing her hand onto Grace's leg, squeezing it.
Jake placed Grace on the ground, next to her Avatar as the veins began connecting.
"The Great Mother may choose to save all that she is, in this body," Mo'at explained.
Jake nodded, "Is it possible?"
"She must pass through the eye of Eywa, and return. But, Jake Sully, she is very weak," Mo'at responded, Denahi moving her hand to Jake's lower back.
"Hang on, Grace. They're gonna fix you up," Jake said before holding onto Grace.
They all began to move more circular, arms holding out.
Mo'at exclaims, "Hear us please, All Mother. Eywa help her! Take this spirit into you.. and breathe her back to us. Let her walk among us as one of The People!"
Denahi watched Jake move.
He held onto Jake's hand after she reached out for him.
"Grace?" He asked.
"I'm with her, Jake. She's real..." Grace said.
Denahi stood from her place and moved next to Jake, holding onto her hand that Jake held.
"Grace? Grace, please. Grace!" He repeated, trying to help her come back to them.
He asked what was happening, he was so confused.
Denahi slumped down as she noticied Grace's Avatar hadn't moved— it didn't work.
"Her wounds were too great. It was not enough time, she is with Eywa now," Mo'at explained.
Denahi noticed Jake crunch, almost like he was about to cry.
Her hand held onto his shoulder before slumping her side into his, giving him a meaningful hug.
He tapped her waist before standing, holding her hand so she would stand with him.
"With your permission, I will speak now. You would honor me by translating," Jake spoke to Tsu'tey, him nodding in agreement.
"The Sky-people have sent us a message, that they can take whatever they want and no one can stop them.. Well, we will send them a message," Jake looked at them all.
Denahi smiled proudly.
This was who she fell in love with.
"You ride out as fast as the wind can carry you. You tell the other clans to come, tell them Toruk Makto calls to them! And you fly now, with me!" Jake exclaimed.
Denahi nodded in agreement.
Mukata stood from his seat to let out a war cry.
"My brothers, sisters! And we will show the Sky-people that they cannot take whatever they want. And that this, this is our land!" Jake finished.
