She knew these feelings all too well. The sickness, the fatigue, hot to the touch. Pregnancies were all too familiar with her, after enduring four of them. She knew all the signs and symptoms, how her body reacted when she was pregnant. "Mo'at?" Denahi sighed when she walked into the hut, her hand holding onto her stomach in comfort. Denahi was fine with five children, but six seemed too much of an handful.

"I believe I am with child..." Being pregnant during the time of humans returning wasn't the greatest idea as well. RDA had returned, Pandora continued being destroyed. Denahi knew it wouldn't take long before another war would break out between Na'vi and humans. However, she had nobody else to blame for this. It was her fault. She and Jake had not been careful enough.

Mo'at nodded at the ground for Denahi to sit. She understood how she was feeling. After all, Neytiri was in the same predicament. She watched in the corner of the hut, playing with her young daughter. Neytiri tried offering Denahi a smile, but nothing worked.

"Ah... Yes. You are with child," Mo'at explained and Denahi's heart dropped at the sound of her words. Her hand dropped down to her stomach again before rushing from the hut with tears whelming in her eyes.

Raising Malhua and Tuk in this war was too much to handle already. Both of them being too young to understand what was happening. Having to raise a whole newborn in a world they will never get to explore, or experience, until this war is won.

Warm tears streamed down Denahi's face as she entered her hut. She wanted to seem fine for them, her usual self. But, even as she wiped her tears, her shallow breathing could still be heard. Jake stood to attention at the sound of his mate crying, knife held tight within the palm of his hand.

"You okay? You hurt? I'll kill them if someone did this to you," Jake told her, she dropped her head onto his shoulder and felt his large arms wrap around her waist.

"It's okay... Whatever it is, baby," But, it wasn't okay. Denahi lifted her head, Jake moving his hand to wipe away her tears. How could she tell him this? Their lives were fine. Manageable. Malhua and Tuk were manageable within war, but a newborn would not be fine within a war.

"I am with child, Ma'Jake..." Denahi announced. His head dropped to the ground in defeat. That wasn't what he was expecting to hear from her mouth. That was when she fell back into his arms. She was scared.

He was scared. Terrified. But, he had to be strong for her. Strong like she had been for him during the past. "Hey..." He lifted her chin to greet his face, foreheads pressing together, "We'll get through this. We always get through shit like this."

She smiled at him. She didn't mean to make the miracle of pregnancy such a sad topic. But, how her world had become in the moment, she was terrified to raise a newborn within it.  "Remember what I always say?" Jake asked before Denahi chuckled.

"Sully's stick together..." Without a doubt. Without a question. Their family will always be stuck together. Never leave one behind. "Yeah, that's right. That includes this one too, yeah?" He pressed a kiss to her forehead.

Their cuddle was soon interrupted. Neteyam walked in with Malhua resting in his arms, Lo'ak and Kiri sticking their tongue out to each other. "We brought dinner!" Neteyam happily announced as he held the meat.

He put Malhua on the floor, but her hand only held onto his. "You didn't cook this, did you?" He asked Neteyam, not wanting neither of them to get food poisoning. Their heads shook in sync, confused.
