"I was thinking of spotting the grounds..." Denahi turned to Jake after he announced that. Her arms folded over her chest, shaking her head at him. The humans hadn't shown signs of them coming back yet, which is why their war party could return home. And he wanted to go find more trouble? Denahi couldn't understand. "I am coming," She told him. If he was going, she was also.

"No... no. You have to stay here. Keep this one safe if something happens," Jake said before tapping her stomach. Denahi hissed at his words— keeping her baby safe? She had done much worse things previously whilst being pregnant. "And who will keep you safe?" She asked him knowing Jake could handle himself much better than she could.

And this was another thing to add onto his list on why he loves Denahi— her stubbornness. Even a flaw he loved so much. "Fine..." He replied without much fought.

But as Denahi reached for her bow, she noticed her eldest son sat all alone. All alone? Her brow bone furrowed, walking into the separate room. "Where are your siblings? You're usually with Mal," Denahi asked him.

Neteyam shrugged his shoulders, "With Norm, Max and Spider." He thought so. She looked down at her son, couldn't bare the thought of him spending him time alone, "Do you want to come with us?"

He looked up at Denahi with a bright smile. She trusted his intuition amongst his training against the humans— and he was a good spotter. Neteyam grabbed his armour for his Ikran that he named after Mukata's, Hua. A thoughtful gesture that made Denahi sob for hours on end with no hesitation.

And when Lo'ak announced he named his Mark, she soon sobered her tears. The name was human— more human than she could handle. But, Lo'ak wanted to be like his father. He wanted to name his Ikran a simple name like his father had done.

Denahi placed her armour on Riti, making sure her Ikran was just as safe as she was. Especially after witnessing Hua's death, she couldn't get the nightmare out of her head.

"Don't do anything unless ordered, Neteyam," Jake warned him. Remembering the last time he allowed Neteyam to spot. And Neteyam didn't want another encounter like the one with the raid.

Denahi smiled at the two of them before mimicking a call to Riti, soaring high within the sky of the Pandoran forest. She loved her home. Everything about her home. Although the humans attempted to destroy it, Pandora grew it back even more mightier. However, Denahi's heart still yearned for all the animals that lost their lives. How their death wasn't useful to them, scary and slow. A painful death in which animals do not understand what had happened.

Her mind was lost in thought until she heard the static within her ear, "Devil Dog, Devil Dog, this is Eagle Eye, over." The sound of her youngest son— hushed and confused.

"Eagle Eye, send me your traffic..." Jake responded within the comms. Denahi pressed her finger against her ear-piece, wanting to hear the conversation more clear. "I got eyes on some guys. They look like Avatars, but they're in full camo and carrying AR's. There's six of them, over," And her heart dropped to those words.

"What's your pos, over," Jake asked.

"We're at the Old Shack..." The Old Shack? The one place Denahi and Jake had forbidden. Told their children that the Old Shack was a place that should never be explored. Should never be touched again, and he was there. And they were there.

"Who's we?" Jake asked his son. Lo'ak went silent for a moment, scared to respond to his father's question, "Me, Spider, Kiri... Tuk and Mal." Her hand gripped onto Riti's harness much tighter than before. Jake looked towards Denahi, eyes showing comfort instead of fear. He didn't need to show his fear, he needed them all calm.

But, she couldn't stay calm. Her little daughters were with him. The two that could not fend for themselves, relied on their parents to keep them safe. How could they be safe up against camouflage Avatars?

"Son... You listen to me very carefully. You pull back, right now. Do not make a sound. You get the Hell out of there. Move! You copy?" Jake exclaimed, attempting to stay calm but mad at his son's stupidity.

"Mom... Dad! I know a quick way!" Neteyam shouted over the whistling wind. He lead them though a shortcut, Denahi becoming more anxious with every passing second.
