"I was thinking of spotting the grounds," Jake said as his hands ran over Denahi's stomach.

She looked up at him from behind, placing the knife she was using for cutting her food down.

"Where?" She questioned.

"Battle field. You know that's a mark for them," Jake replied.

Denahi sighed before nodding, "I am coming."

Jake shook his head.

"No.. no. You have to stay here, keep this one safe if anything happens," Jake said as he tapped her stomach.

She smiled to herself and his protection.

"And who will keep you safe?" Denahi asked.

Jake tusked— he wasn't going to get his way with her.

Another thing to add to the lists of why he loves Denahi.

"Fine," Jake simply replied.

Denahi walked to get her bow before noticing Neteyam sat in the opposite room.

All alone.

Her prints furrowed before walking into the room with a slight knock on the makeshift door.

Neteyam turned to look at his mom.

"Where are the others? You're usually with Malhua," Denahi questioned her eldest.

He shrugged, "With Norm, Max and Spider."

At least, he thinks.

"Do you want to come with us?" Denahi inquired.

Neteyam agreed and grabbed his bow and armour for his ikran, Hua. He had named his after his little sister, and uncle's ikran.

Lo'ak had named his Mark.

Denahi scowling Jake after giving him that name.

But, Lo'ak wanted to be like has father.

So, he asked for Sky-people names for his ikran. Like, Jake had named his Bob.

"Come, come," Denahi rushed her son.

They all made their way to High Camp's edge.

Denahi mounted Riti, Jake and Neteyam following close behind on their ikran's.

"Do not do anything unless ordered so, Teyam. It is dangerous around these areas," Jake spoke.

Neteyam nodded— he didn't want an encounter like the raid.

The fly was smooth.

Denahi enjoyed it plentiful.

Scanning the areas of her beloved home, noticing it had regrown into beautiful greens.

She was thankful fire had hardly hit these trees.

But, then they all heard static in their ears.

Denahi turned to Jake once hearing Lo'ak's voice come through, "(Devil Dog, Devil Dog, this is Eagle Eye, over)."

"Eagle Eye, send me your traffic," Jake replied.

"(I got eyes on some guys. They look like Avatar's, but they're in full camo and carrying AR's. There's six of them, over)," Lo'ak announced.

Denahi's heart dropped.

That could only mean one thing.

"What's your pos, over," Jake asked his son.

Lo'ak's sigh could be heard, "(We're at the Old Shack)."

Neteyam's head snapped over to Jake's.

"Who's we?" Jake questioned.

Denahi was waiting for Lo'ak's answer.

It scared her that Lo'ak was there, nevermind the rest of her children.

"(Me, Spider, Kiri... Tuk and Mal)," Lo'ak replied.

No, no.

Denahi gripped Riti's harness tighter.

Her eyes closed as she soaked in Lo'ak's words.

Her little daughters were there. They couldn't fend for themselves, how are they supposed to be safe against Avatar's?

Her heart was picking up by the second.

Jake looked at her, telling her to calm with his eyes.

But, she couldn't— how was she supposed to be calm after that?

"Son, you listen to me very carefully, you pull back right now. Do not make a sound! You get the Hell out of there. Move! You copy?" Jake exclaimed, trying to stay calm.

"Mom, Dad! I know a quick way," Neteyam said.

He lead them through a shortcut.

Denahi only getting more anxious with every second.
