Because a certain reader has brought it to my attention that i have NO chapters for him. there is a bit of an age gap, as you are in your late twenties in this and Harry is canonly in his mid thirties.

You were no optimist when it came to valentine's day. "Another valentine's day without a valentine." You said to your friend as she sat on a nearby chair. "Y'know, you don't have to bitch and complain every valentine's day." Said the friend.

"That's easy for you to say, you're twenty-six and you're married with a daughter!" "That's because i put myself out there!" Your friend argued. "You can't keep blaming the universe for your annual hatred of being single. it's your own fault." She scolds you.

"Are you serious? "Put myself out there"? And do what? You know a good percentage of valentine bluffs' male population are just frat boys and drunken pigs." You explained. the men in valentine bluffs weren't the best, but being that the women there have no real standards, they all had dates for the occasion.

"It's not their fault you have an odd taste in men. you think anything that isn't six feet tall with a dumb mask is not good enough for you." your friend scolded you once again, leaving you two in an awkward silence. "I tell you what. Me and my husband are going to the valentine's dance. You can come with us and see if you meet your prince charming."

"VALENTINE'S DANCE?! WHAT ABOUT HARRY?!" You blurt in a worried tone. "Ugh, Harry Warden is long gone from this place. must you be so paranoid?" you scoff at your friend's careless behaviour. She leans in across to your seat, grabbing your hands. "Please, [Name]. i don't want you to go another year feeling empty and upset because you feel that no one loves you." You wanted to refuse, but your friend's sincere puppy eyes were too much to resist.

And so there you were, wearing your best outfit, giving off a slightly seductive aura. you hated the party. finding a man was hard. why do you have to walk up to them and get their attention? why can't they talk to you first? ugh. you sat there uncomfortably, a red solo cup in your hand.

You had yet to take a sip of your drink, not being too fond of the contents. seeing that your friend was distracted with her husband, you snuck out of the party, standing outside. that's when a black and white cat walked over to you, purring as his similar looking friend walked behind.

"Pfft, even the cats have dates." You muttered. you were completely bored and you wanted to leave, but your friend was your ride, so you couldn't leave yet. you were tempted to walk back by foot, when you noticed it. the entrance to the mine. what about harry? you asked yourself. Meh, even he was better than this awkward party.

So you made your way into the tunnels, walking along the tracks with a little lantern that had been conveniently lit before you were down there. you walked down the empty, dirty paths, your shoes clicking against the gravel like dirt. "Damnit" You cursed, seeing as to how you were lost in the tunnels.

"Now i'm gonna die here!" You yelled out in frustration, your lantern flickering. that's when you heard footsteps. they were slow yet heavy. but as you studied the pace and weight of the steps, you failed to hear how close they were getting to you. you turned around to see the one and only Harry Warden, his signature pickaxe in hand. By instinct, you began to run swiftly down the dimly lit path, not daring to look back.

You turned the corner, Harry sliding in front of you as he appeared from fucking nowhere. being startled by the sudden appearance, you fall to the ground, dropping your lantern. He reached his hand out, staring down at you through his gas mask. You grab his hand, Harry pulling you to your feet.

He stared at you quietly, a firm grip on your right hand. "I have to go,"  you explained with a calm tone, Harry nodding his head. You and Harry walked along the dark, dusty tunnels, him still holding your hand as he walked. "So,...Do you live down here?" You asked him. he nodded. "Interesting." You muttered as Harry brought you back towards the exit. finally, you found the exit, joyously running back towards it.

You stopped in your tracks, turning back to look at Harry. You ran over to him, placing a kiss on the side of his mask and running off. it's been two days since that happened, and you've yet to tell anybody about it.

And your heart nearly melted at the gift that came in the male. It was two boxes of chocolate, one box containing your favorite kind of chocolate, and the other containing a human heart, alongside a handwritten note.

My special valentine,

from Harry Warden to [First Name] [Last name]

You awed at his letter, not concerned with how he got your name and address, nor why it was written in blood.
