CAUSE HE'S SO FINE (his voice is fine. Obviously, we can't see him. But the actor (Claude Rains) is fine)
I don't remember the cast well, so the friend's name is made up.
You sat on the couch anxiously as you watched the news about an invisible man wreaking havoc around the city, from harmful pranks to full-on murder.
But what hurt you most is when you got a call from a friend, telling you that it was your fiance, Dr. Jack Griffin. Jack was a scientist, and he'd always been so open with you about his experiments, but recently, he's gotten cold, aggressive even. Then he simply disappeared. Vanished into thin air.
He made a potion that would make him invisible, and one of the key ingredients is a toxic chemical that drove him mad. Now he's out killing people. The friend tells you that he's been keeping him hidden. Against his will, of course. Griffin had been threatening the man and had forced him to keep in the house.
"Alright. I'll be over as soon as possible." You tell the friend, hanging up. You grabbed your purse, threw on a jacket, and left the house on a journey to retrieve your future husband. Upon your arrival, you rang the doorbell. "Harry? Harry, are you there?" You asked, the door opening. "Come in." Said Harry, bringing you into the house.
"Where is he?" You asked Harry. "In the guest room." He tells you, as you begin to walk, he calls for you. "Wait! Be careful. He's dangerous." Said Harry. "I know Jack. He wouldn't hurt me." "That thing in there is not Jack." Said Harry. "Well, that's your opinion. I'll be damned if i let you talk about my fiance that way." You told him.
Making it to the guest room, you knock on the door. "Jack?" You question, your heart pumped anxiously. Upon the door opening, you were met with a man in a red robe with black edges. His head was wrapped in gauze like a mummy, and he wore black sunglasses and some black leather gloves. "[Name]? What on earth are you doing here?" He asked, pulling you into the room. The two of you sat down on the bed.
"I came to see you. I've heard the news." You told him. "I see. Well, what do you think? Pretty impressive, eh?" "Oh, it's very impressive. But you're a wanted man, Jack. Why are you doing this?" You asked. "The power, [Name] the power. I want the world to gravel at my feet, to bask in my glory! I will be the first man to have turned himself invisible, yet alone creating the formula for it!" He exclaims.
"Isn’t there a way you can turn yourself back?" "I'm afraid not, [Name]. It'll be at least ten more years before I can find a way to get back. I understand if you can't forgive me. How much of a fool I've been, letting work get in between us. I suppose this would ruin the wedding." Said Jack.
You wrapped your arms around him, placing your head on his chest. "I don't care if you're invisible, Jack! I just want you to come home! I miss you, and I don't want you out committing crimes such as murder." You exclaimed, a single tear running down your face.
"Now, now, [Name]. Please don't cry." He says, wiping your tears. He pulled you onto him, laying back on the bed. You laid there on his chest, listening closely to his heartbeat. You smiled a little. He then flipped you over, now hovering above you. He removes the bandages from his head, unraveling it slowly. Once they were removed, your eyes widened a little. He was really invisible, seemingly headless. "Wow." Is all you could say.
"Give me three days, [Name]. Three days, and I'll come home." He says, giving you a kiss. "We'll have the wedding here," He kisses your cheek. "And leave the country." He kisses your neck. "Promise?" You ask, smiling down at him. "I promise." Said Jack. He got up off of you, helping you off the bed. As he looked out the window, he noticed the angry riot of people walking up to the house.
"Harry. That damn snitch. Listen, [Name], you need to leave quickly. I don't want you getting involved in this. I promise I'll be fine. I'll see you in three days." Said Jack, swiftly sneaking you out of the room. You smiled, feeling your cheeks warm.
