DEVIL'S WRATH 1: Lucian Velorca (COMPLETED)

CHAPTER 37

"LUCARD, thank you sa lahat..." Sincere kong sabi sa kanya dahil ngayong umaga na ang paglipat namin ng bahay ni Lucian. I wanted to thank Lucian because he has a big part in why good things are starting to happen for me now. He was such a good man—words are not even enough to tell how lucky I am to meet this guy, and every time I would look into his eyes, I will always remember how he saved me.

"It's nothing, Milk. I want you free, and I want you to be truly happy." He smiled genuinely, his smile was made of sunshine—like the same thing I need when I'm in my darkest times.

"You can now go dahil parang papatayin na ako ng tingin ni Lu. Bibisitahin ko kayo doon minsan, okay lang ba?"

I immediately nodded my head, "Siyempre, Lucard. Ano ka ba." I softly chuckled as I gazed at Milo.

"Baby, say goodbye to Papa na..."

"We're going, Papa. Puntahan mo ako lagi, ha?"

Napatawa naman si Lucard dahil sa sinabi ni Milo. Hindi ko masisisi si Milo kung bakit malapit siya kay Lucard, lalo na't ito ang tumayong ama niya noon. Kinarga niya ito at hinalikan sa ulo.

Pinaiwan ko muna si Lucian sa kotse dahil paniguradong hindi kami makakapagpaalam ng maayos kapag nandito siya.

"Of course, big boy. So where's my kiss?" Mabilis siyang binigyan ni Milo ng munting halik sa pisngi.

"Hali ka na, baby. Baba ka na kay Papa..." Ibinaba ni Lucard si Milo at mabilis naman siyang kumapit sa hita ko.

"Bye-bye, Papa!"

"Mauna na kami, Lucard."

"Yeah, take care." Winagayway ni Milo ang kamay niya sa kanya habang naglalakad kami papunta sa kotse kung saan nakaabang si Lucian. Babalik kami ng mansion at sila Mama at Papa naman ay may sariling bahay at doon sila dederetso.

Actually, I wanted us to just stay together, but they said it's different to have our own home. But Lucian promised me he'd protect my parents, too. I buckled my seatbelt and looked at him—his face furrowed and unreadable.

"Laham, w-why? Let's go?" I stared at him because he didn't answer and he started the engine. I got nervous because his face was so serious, and I know it was about Lucard again.

I suddenly remembered the last thing he told me, "Laham, is something wrong?"

He didn't even turn to look at me, and I saw him shake his head. I don't know how to talk to him. Kaninang umaga lang, pagkagising namin ang sweet-sweet niya sa'kin, at nung sinabi kong magpapaalam lang ako kay Lucard, pumayag naman siya. Akala ko naman naiintindihan niya.

Minsan talaga paiba-iba ang mood niya. Daig niya pa ang babaeng dinadatnan! Panay tingin ko sa kaniya, ngunit ni minsan hindi man lang niya ako nilingon. Nagseselos pa rin ba siya kay Lucard? But I already assured him...

Napatingin na lang ako sa labas at hinayaan ko muna siya.

When we arrived at the mansion, we were greeted by some maids, including Aling Corazon. I could see the happiness in her eyes knowing Lucian and I are already okay.

When we went into the room, we were welcomed by pastel blue colors, accentuated with kid's style. The bed was like a car, while there were stars on the ceiling, and when you turn off the light you would see the universe. This also had a playhouse, and a slide with sand and toy fishes.

"Wow, this looks so cool, Mama! I like it!" I smiled when he jumped on the soft bed. It was completely different from our old room.

"Did you like it?" I turned around when he entered the room. Nakangiti siya habang nakatingin kay Milo.
