Chapter 23: Show On The Road (Zanders PoV)

I stood there, and I just seemed to stare at the door that was in front of me. As it was that I did my best to try to act as calm as I felt like I could. Though it did in fact seem like it was easier said than done for me.
As it was that for all that I did in fact just seem to know. This could be some sort of trap for us. That this could be the fact that we could be caught, and we could be hung up for execution.
None of it seemed to make sense to me what so ever. As it was that I did in fact just seem to let out a little bit of a soft sigh to my self. As it was that I then also did in fact begin to go and speak to my self as well.
"I just have a bad feeling about it all..." I did in fact just seem to say. As it was that I then once again seemed to shiver at what I had said. As it was that I did in fact all of the sudden dip my head a bit low to the ground.
Just as it was that I had done as such a thing like that as well. That was when it was that I saw that Upton and Westley. They both had clearly heard as to just what it was that I had even said to my self.
Just as soon as it was that it had in fact just been the case. That was when it was that I just seemed to wake my self up. And I then did in fact begin to hear the voice of John as he seemed to speak up in stead.
"This will work out... You must trust in the faith of Jesus Christ... Is that not why you came here?" He did in fact just seem to say. As it was that I saw that he had his eyes squinted at me just as he had said that.
As I felt like he did in fact have a fair point on what he had said. As I then did in fact just seem to dip my head a little bit low to the ground. As it was that I did in fact do my best to try to stay calm, at that.
Just as soon as it was that I had done as such a thing like that. That was when it was that I also did in fact just seem to hear the voice of Upton. As it was that he did in fact just seem to be uplifting him self, as he spoke.
"John is right... We are at the right place... If any thing, they are in more danger than us... They have every thing to lose... Not us..." He did in fact just seem to say to me, at that.
As it was that I knew that he was in fact speaking the truth. As it was that I then did in fact also just seem to nod back to the young man. As it was that I saw that he had his eyes right on to John as it was that he had said that.
Just as it was that he had said what it was that he had said to me. That was when it was that John seemed to dip his head low to the ground. As it was that he now seemed to be the one with the worried look on his own face.
It seemed to be quite a bit of a mess as to what was going on right now. As it was that just as it was that I had in fact thought on that. That was when it was that Westley then began to go and speak up him self.
"All of you need to calm down... We just need to get Mary, and get out of here... John and Jesus' plan will work... Soon he will come back to us..." He did in fact just seem to say.
As it was that he had in fact said as to just what he had said at the end. That was when it was that I began to shiver quite a bit. As it was that I began to start to think on the fact that it just seemed to be.
That was when it was that I began to hear foot steps. As it was that it kind of made me jump at first. Until it was that I then began to realize that the foot steps were in side.
Just as soon as it was that it had in fact just seemed to have been the case. That was when it was that I then let out a very rough sigh. And I also then began to go and speak out loud once again, at that.
"Well... I guess we are about to find out I suppose..." I did in fact just seem to mutter out loud. As it was that my eyes were in fact wide just as soon as it was that I had said as to just what it was that I had said.
I could not lie to my self either, none the less. I was scared to death as to just what it was that was about to happen, at that. Not only the fact that it was as to just who it was that was about to open that door.
But also the fact that I was in fact quite a bit worried of course. That as soon as it was that we actually had made it out of where we needed to be. I felt like some thing very bad was going to happen to us, as well.
I let out quite a heavy sigh to my self down my chest. As it was that I then did in fact just seem to close my eyes for a few moments. Just as soon as the door did in fact open, and I heard the voice of Mary, from in side.
"I told you... John and the others... They were coming... We need to get you out of here Mary... Jesus thinks the same thing too... This is not a safe place for us to be any longer..." I did in fact just seem to hear the voice of a scared young lady say.
As it was that I then did in fact just seem to open my eyes. Just as soon as it was that I had in fact heard as to just what she had said. As it was that I got my eyes right on to the woman, and the house that was in side.
Though it seemed to be a bit dark in side, at that. As I simply could not see any thing past that. As I then did in fact just seem to start to hear the voice of John speak up, all at the exact same time as well.
"Come on Mary... Let us in... We don't know how safe it is... Guards could come at any moment..." I did in fact just seem to hear the voice of John say to her, at that.
As it was that I did in fact just seem to look right at the man. As it was clear to me that he was quite a bit afraid him self. As it was that it was clear that he did in fact not want to be on the streets any longer.
I could not blame him for that being the case what so ever. Though I still felt like I couldn't help but to dip my head low to the ground. And to then speak to my self quietly as I then did in fact do as such a thing like that.
"We are going to be back on those streets soon any ways..." I did in fact just seem to say. As it was that I did in fact also just seem to gulp just as it was that I had said that.
As soon as it was that it had in fact just seemed to have been the case. I then did in fact just seem to breathe in a very heavy sigh to my self. As it was that I then also began to start to hear the voice of Mary, as she then began to speak back to John, at that.
"Oh yes... Of course... Come in side..." She did in fact just seem to say right back to John. As well as the fact that she had said it to the other guys that were with us.
I once again did in fact just seem to lift my head up. As to the fact that it was that she had said as to just what it was that she had said. As it was that I just then did in fact just seem to let out quite a bit of a rough sigh to my self all of the sudden.
Just as soon as it was that it had in fact just been the case. I then began to see John begin to walk in side of the home, all of the sudden. As it was that I then also began to start to go right on ahead and hear him speak back to her as he did as such a thing like that.
"Thank you Mary... Let's get in side... And then let's talk..." He did in fact just seem to say. As it was that he had his own eyes wide. Just as soon as it was that he had in fact said as to just what it was that he had said.
As it was that I did in fact just seem to stand there and stare. As it was that I was not at all too sure as to just what I should do my self. As I did my best to just try to act as calm as I felt like I could in the mean time.
Just as soon as it was that I had done as such a thing like that. I then did in fact just seem to also go and look at the others that were behind me. As I then did in fact go right on ahead and just seem to speak back to them.
"Alright... Let's go... Come on..." I did in fact just seem to say. As it was that my eyes were in fact wide my self, just as it was that I had in fact said what I had said.
I did my best to try to act as calm and as normal as I could. As in the end, I did in fact turn my head away from each one of them. As it was that I then did in fact begin to go and walk in side the place right behind John.
It took me a few moments to get my eyes focused on the dark. But just as it was that I had in fact just seemed to have done so. That was when it was that I did in fact just seem to feel much more calm than before.
As it was that I saw that the girls were in fact on the end side of the hall way just now. As well as the fact that there was a middle aged woman at the end of that. As it was that I then did in fact just seem to go and speak to my self as I saw her.
"So... That is Mary..." I did in fact just seem to say. As it was obvious to me that I was correct. As it was that she was in fact a woman that did in fact stand out from the rest.
I gulped, as I felt a bit uncomfortable to even be in her presence. As it was that I did in fact just seem to dip my head a bit low to the ground. As it was that I then began to hear the voice from that very same woman go and speak up, all of the sudden.
"Hurry up and get in side... Mary says this is some thing we need to do soon... I would appreciate help from you men for getting me ready..." She did in fact just seem to say.
As it was that I felt a bit more calm just as she had said that. As it was that it did in fact seem like the ladies had already convinced her. As to the fact that we did in fact need to get out of this place, at that.
Though once again, I still knew that it was the easiest part. As it was that I then did in fact just seem to calm my self down. As I then began to hear the voice of John seem to go and once again speak up, at that.
"Of course we will do that... And we will explain all that is going on, on the journey to Paul's..." He did in fact just seem to say. As it was that he had a very serious look on his face just as it was that he had said that.
As it was that he had in fact saud as to just what he had said. That was when I saw the eyes of Mary just seem to grow wide. As it was clear that she did in fact now seem to realize just how serous this was.
As it was that she had seemed to have done such a thing like that. That was when she once again just seemed to nod back to him. As it was that she took a few steps back, as she once again began to go and speak up, all at the exact same time as well.
"Alright... Hurry up and come in..." She did in fact just seem to say. As it was that she seemed to remind us that we didn't have much time. As it was that I then did in fact just seem to take a few steps further in side.
As it was that I then did in fact just seem to hear the door. As it was that it did in fact just seem to close right behind me, at that. As it was that I felt a  bit more calm and a bit more safe as soon as it was the case.
Just as soon as it was that I had felt it be that way. I then did in fact just seem to let my self free. As it was that I did in fact just seem to follow the women as to where they were taking us.
I knew that I could trust all of these women, none the less. As it was that the stress seemed to be gone for the time being at least. As I then did in fact just seem to go and speak out loud my self, all at once.
"Well... Good job on getting Mary to come with us... But this is going to be very hard with such a big group to get to Paul's... Especially around this time of day..." I did in fact just seem to say to them all.
I once again did in fact just seem to gulp at what I had said. As it was that I did my best to act as calm as I felt like I could. And then I began to start to blink as it was that I saw the girls go and look at me.
Mary seemed to look at me with her eyes squinted, at that. Just as soon as it was that I had in fact said as to just what I had said. As it was that she then also began to start to go and speak back to me as well.
"Well... I haven't made up my mind just yet... I assume that you are Zander... You are the one I want to talk to the most..." She did in fact just seem to say to me.
It was clear that the girls had in fact brought my name up. As I had to assume that they had let her know that I was the leader. As it was that I did in fact just seem to gulp just as I had thought on that.
I was not too sure as to just why it was in fact the case. But I kind of felt a bit afraid to speak to the woman. Even more than it was that I had felt when it was that it was Jesus.
As it was that I did my best to try to act as calm as I felt like I could. I then did in fact just seem to dip my head quite a bit low to the ground. And I then did in fact also just seem to speak back to her shortly after that.
"Yes... I am Zander... And sure... I will answer any questions that you still have about this..." I did in fact just seem to say. As it was that I kind of made it seem like she didn't really have much of any other choice.
Which I knew that it was in fact the case as well. As it was that she really didn't have much of a choice to choose at this point. As it was that I kind of felt a bit bad for still making it seem that way either way.
As it was that I had in fact just seemed to have stood there and stared. That was when it was that I just seemed to wake my self up. And I then did in fact just seem to go and hear Mary speak to some one else, at that.
"Alright Mary... You should know the valuables I would like to bring and the clothes... So please go help the men pack up... While I talk with Zander... You girls are free to do what ever you want..." She did in fact just seem to say, at that.
As it was that she then did in fact just seem to look at Lenore and Amelia at the end of what she had said. As she had her eyes wide, all at the exact same time too. As it was clear to me that she was letting them know that she was being serious.
As it was that I had in fact just seemed to have thought on that. That was when it was that I did in fact just seem to shiver quite a bit. As it was that I just then also watched the other men walk right past me.
Just as it was that they were in fact doing as such a thing like that. I then did in fact also just seem to feel John pat his hand on my shoulder. As it was that I then also began to hear him start to speak back to me as well.
"Good luck Zander... You have got this... I believe in you..." He did in fact just seem to say. As it was that he had his eyes wide just as soon as it was that he had said what he had said.
As it was that I once again couldn't help but to shiver. As it was that I did my best to just try to act as calm as I felt like I could still. As I then did in fact just seem to turn my head away from all of them.
Just as soon as it was that it had in fact just been the case. That was when it was that I then heard Mary seem to say my name once again. As I looked at the older woman, and I listened as to just what it was that she had to say to me, all at once.
"Alright Zander... How about you come with me to the dining room... I have some food for you to eat, and you can explain to me what exactly it is that is going on..." She did in fact just seem to say to me.
As it was that she had in fact said as to just what she had said. That was when it was that I began to start to realize as to the fact. That the girls must have not told her as much as it was that I had in fact hoped.
I knew that it was up to me to convince the woman. As it was some thing that I did in fact not like all too well. As I kind of just seemed to dip my head a little bit low to the ground.
I knew that it did in fact kind of look back for me doing as such. As it was that I did in fact just seem to let out a rough sigh to my self as well. As I then did in fact go right on ahead and simply speak right back to her, at that.
"What about the other guys? Don't you think they need some thing to eat too?" I did in fact just seem to say to her, all at once. As it was that my eyes were wide just as I had in fact said that to her, at that.
I did in fact just seem to stare at her right in to her own eyes as well. As it was that I was not too sure what else I should do or say. As I did in fact simply just seem to stay that way for just a little bit longer.
As it was that I had in fact done as such a thing like that. That was when it was that Mary seemed to once again blink her eyes a few times. As it was that she then also began to simply go and speak back to me, at that.
"Yes... We will get to that when the time comes... I thought you were in a rush and a hurry by the sound of it... Have you changed your mind..." She did in fact just seem to say to me all of the sudden.
As it was that she then did in fact just seem to squint her eyes at me. As it was that she had a suspicious look on her face as she had said that. As I knew that I was giving her good reason to be that way.
I quickly then just seemed to try my best to snap out of it, all at once. As I then did in fact just seem to simply go and nod back to her. As it was that I did in fact not hesitate to speak back to her in return this time.
"Yes... Sorry... I know that the girls told you that we are going with Paul on a boat to Spain... What else is it that you want to know?" I did in fact just seem to say to her, all at the exact same time as well.
Just as soon as it was that I had in fact said that to her. She just seemed to calm her self down quite a bit, at the very least. As it was that she still did in fact just seem to have her eyes squinted at me how ever.
This time though, I was not as worried as I had been before. As it was that I did in fact just seem to stare at her with ease this time. As I then did in fact also just seem to go and hear her start to speak right back to me, at that.
"Well... I just want to know where it is that you come from... None of you have any thing in common... You all look completely different than any foreigner I have ever seen..." She did in fact just seem to say.
As it was that she had in fact said as to just what she had said to me. That was when it was that I then did in fact seem to see. That it was clear that I could not lie to this lady, as she would read right through it.
It seemed like she and Jesus did in fact have a lot in common. As it was that I did in fact just seem to stand there and stare for a little bit longer. As in the end, I then began to go and speak back to her, at that.
"Well... We come from the under ground... Some where far away from here... That is why our skins are so pale... We know some thing that is about to happen, and we are here to try to stop that..." I did in fact just seem to say to her.
As it was that I felt like I needed to keep it brief for what ever reason. As it was that I did in fact just seem to continue to stare at her. As it was that my eyes were wide as it was that I did as such a thing like that.
Mary did in fact just seem to be not surprised at all. As it was that I knew I at least told her a fair bit of the truth, at that. As I knew that I really did not want to give away too much what so ever, at that.
Just as soon as it was that I had in fact thought on such a thing like that. That was when it was that I did in fact let out quite a rough sigh to my self. And I then did in fact begin to go and hear her start to speak back to me once again, as well.
"Yes... I got that already... But it still comes to the concern... Why did you come after us? Why are you trying to change destiny?" She did in fact just seem to say, all at once.
As just as it was that Jesus had in fact just seemed to have been. It did in fact just seem like she knew a lot about some thing going on. As it was clear that she knew that some thing was supposed to happen to Jesus.
As it was that I had in fact just seemed to have thought on that. That was when this time I decided to stay strong my self. As I simply shook my head back to her, as well as the fact that I also spoke back to her too.
"Because... The path that comes after this one... Is not the path that things were supposed to end... We are trying to bring it to the way that things were meant to end..." I did in fact just seem to say to her.
As it was that I once again went in to brief detail, just as before. As it was that I was not all too sure as to just what else it was that I should do. As it was that Mary had her eyes wide, as she did in fact just seem to be fairly confused about it all.
I felt like I could not blame her for that being the case. As it was that I knew that I could not tell her every thing. As I was sure that my story did in fact not seem to make all too much sense to her what so ever.
As it was that she just seemed to stare past me for some more time. That was when it was that she then seemed to finally wake her self up. As she then did in fact go right on ahead and simply speak back to me.
"Okay... Fine... I still don't fully grasp what you are saying... But if my son trusts you... If God's son trusts you... Than I shall as well..." She did in fact just seem to say to me.
She then did in fact also just seem to nod back to me. Just as soon as it was that she had in fact said what she had said. As it was that I did my best to try to act as calm as I felt like I could do in the mean time.
As soon as it was that it had in fact just been the case. That was when it was that I then did in fact just seem to speak back to her. As it was that I felt a bit better about things just as soon as I did as such a thing like that.
"Thank you... This will all work out... You just need to trust me... Trust us..." I did in fact just seem to say to her. As it was that I just then also said what I had said at the end. Just as soon as it was that I did in fact hear foot steps come in to the room we were in.
As soon as it was that I had in fact noticed that it was the case. That was when both me and Mary turned our heads in that direction. As it was that I did in fact just seem to see that John and Mary were the first ones to poke their heads in.
I felt safer, as it was that I saw the other 4 come in side as well. As they seemed to have big bags with them, all at the exact same time too. As it was that I then did in fact just seem to hear John speak to us all, all at the exact same time too.
"Alright... Let's get some thing to eat... Then let's get this show on the road..."
