vinnie chased me down the stairs. With my luck, he caught me. "the sun is setting.." i stated. He was taking me to the beach. But he told me to dress up nicely, but i don't know why, i just went along with it. "that's the perfect time to go." He commented, letting go of me with a laugh.
i ran to my side of the door so I could open it, but he beat me to it. "you should never have to open the door for yourself." He stated with a smile. We made our way to the beach. I removed my heels, which he carried. I stood there looking at the water.
He set our shoes down, and stood behind me with his hands on my waist, holding me close to him. Shortly after, he removed his hands from me. I look over and he's down on one knee. My eyes widen. "vinnie.." tears were forming in his eyes.
"y/n.. you have changed my life in so many ways. I'm so glad I went up to you that day, im so thankful for you and the things you do for me. You make my days brighter, even when im having bad days. You are the light of my life, and the love of my life. I wouldn't want to have it any other way, and I can't picture my life without you.. will you marry me?" He sniffled. I nodded my head.
"Yes yes of course!" He smiled putting the ring on my finger and standing up. I squealed jumping on him, my legs going around his waist. I squeezed him tightly. He pecked my lips multiple times. "I love you." I mumbled into his neck. "I love you more." He kissed my head. I couldn't believe it. It didn't feel real, if it was a dream I didn't want to wake up from it. He set me down, and pulled out his phone.
He held out my stand, sticking it in front of my face and taking a picture, posting it on instagram. He was never embarrassed to be seen with me, or post me. We walked along the beach, hand in hand. He spun me around. I was in love. I can't believe I'm marrying my first love.
