Todays vinnies birthday. Because we do long distance, he thinks I'm not going to be able to come. Little does he know, I flew in last night and I'm currently at a hotel. His friends told me what time his party was starting which was at 7.
It was now 5:25pm, and I was out grabbing a drink. Carefully, making sure no one saw me and it getting back to him. But while I was out, he called me. He had already called me this morning where i told him happy birthday.
"Hello?" I smiled. "I miss you." He said. "I miss you too.." i chuckled, getting in the car. "are you sure you can't come? It's not too late."
"Vinnie, the flight is 5 hours long. By the time I land you'll be asleep. And I have to work. I'm sorry, my love."
Little does he know, I was able to work from home so we can see each other more often. "Alright.. please call me if you need anything okay? I may be partying but I'll always pick up the phone."
"Okay, vinnie. Have fun tonight. I love you."
"I love you."
He hung up. I went back to my room, and took a quick shower, doing my hair and then my black plain dress. Vinnies favorite dress he liked on me. I got in my rental, and headed over to his house. Where the party was happening. I probably should've left later because I wanted to wait until they were singing happy birthday to him, but I just couldn't wait.
I eventually got that text from his friend. "Come in." I got out of my car quietly, and went inside. A lot of people were singing happy birthday to him so it was loud enough for me to walk behind him without him hearing. All of his friends knew but him. I was now standing behind him, fighting the urge to hug him. After they finished singing happy birthday, I put my arm around his waist as I was only up to his shoulder.
He immediately turned his head, furrowing his eyebrows ready to push me off but when he realized who I was, his eyes softened and he backed up. He put both hands on the side of his head, his jaw on the floor. "What!" He yelled, hugging me tightly. He gently grabbed my face pulling me apart from him.
"How are you here?"
"I came in last night." I smiled up at him. He kissed me and pulled me in for another hug. "Oh, I love you!"
"I love you, vinnie."
He grabbed my hand, and took me outside where it was a little quieter. "Live with me."
My eyes widened. "W-what?"
"Live with me.. I mean we've been together for 2 1/2 years.." his eyes flickered between mine. "Yes!" I squealed, jumping in his arms.
