"no! stay with me." she whined, getting up and walking towards him. "just let me come with you."
"no because it's a surprise." he chuckled, pulling her chin up to kiss her. "i'll be back soon okay?"
"fine. i love you."
"i love you y/n."
with that, he left and headed over to the tattoo shop.
*10 minutes later*
"here to get a tattoo for your girlfriend?" his tattoo artist asked.
"so where do you want the tattoo?" she asked, scanning over his body. he placed his finger on the left side of his chest.
"alright, lay back." she said and he did. "so tell me about her?"
he smiled at just the thought of her. "she's the best. she's very.. energetic, happy all the time, clingy, so so so kind. she'll do anything for anybody. i love her personality. and her. so much. she stuck by me through my darkest times and supported me. if it weren't for her I don't think I'd be here today."
"she sounds so sweet! im happy you found someone. how long have you guys been together?"
"2 1/2 years. im planning on purposing next month."
she gasped. "wow! are you doing it in LA?"
"actually, im gonna take her to bora bora and propose there. we leave in 2 weeks." he smiled at everything.
"that's great vinnie! im proud of you, and i love her already."
vinnie chuckled. "who wouldn't? she's amazing."
"have you guys talked about kids?" She asked as she started tattooing y/ns name after she prepared him.
"we do actually. we debate if we should have 1 or 3. I think she's set on one."
"is she expecting?"
"not yet unfortunately. she's waiting till marriage which i totally accept. it's funny cause she's already got names picked out."
"how cute! what are the names?"
"if we have a boy, she loves the name salvatore. and for the girl she loves davanee."
"salvatore like from the vampire diaries?"
he laughed. "no and she hates that everyone thinks that. she just thought it was unique."
*30 minutes later*
"y/n.. im home." he called out, and she came running in.
she pecked his lips. "sooo.. can i see it now?" She smiled up at him. he smiled, and removed his shirt, revealing her name.
she gasped, and looked up at him. "noo.. that's fake!" She was shocked. "it's real baby." he looked down at her.
"shut up!" she smiled, and traced her finger over it. "wow... you really got my name on your body.. forever!"
"that's how long I plan to keep you." he kissed her.
"ugh i love you!" she kissed him. she felt wanted. loved. assured. she knew, he was the one. she knew, she was going to marry him.
