"just let me go see him!" i yelled. "y/n no!" my friend pulled my arm back so I couldn't leave. "why?" I sat down. "it's over y/n.. you need to accept that." I shook my head.
"it's not over between us.." i sobbed. "then why did he move out? why were you two screaming at each other that night? why did he set the key on the counter leaving you there?"
"it doesn't mean it's over." i wiped my tears away. "it is.. please accept it." I didn't say anything. she gave me a hug and left. I grabbed my keys and my phone leaving. Me and vinnie broke up a couple weeks ago over a big argument. I haven't talk to him since the breakup.
I pulled into his driveway, hesitant to get out of the car. I wasn't ready to know if he had moved on yet, or if he just had girls there to fill that void. Eventually, i got out of the car and walked up the driveway and got to the door. I took a deep breath before knocking.
I waited what felt like eternity but was only a couple seconds until he opened the door, looking down at me. "y/n.." he spoke softly. He grabbed my arm and pulled me inside closing the door. "it's cold out.."
"i know.." i was in a long shirt that went to the middle of my thighs with sleep shorts that weren't visible. "why are you here?" he questioned, not in a rude tone.
"i just wanted to see you.. i feel bad for everything that went on that night i-" he cut me off by pressing his lips to mine. "i missed you.." he whispered. i smiled and he smashed his lips into mine. My hands got lost in his hair, while his roamed my back holding me close to him. Suddenly, there was a knock on the door. Vinnie pulled away trying to catch his breath before answering the door.
There stood my best friend with a smile. "vi- what are you doing here?" she questioned. Not taking her eyes off me. I looked at vinnie who was looking at her confused. "what are you doing here?" I crossed my arms. "um.. im here to make sure you didn't come here." She giggled.
"stop lying." vinnie said. I looked at him confused. "oh.. you guys.." i grabbed my phone about to leave when vinnie stopped me. "she's been trying to hit on me since we broke up." He blurted out. I set my phone back down, and turned to look at her. "you what..? so while I've been bawling my eyes out wanting to see him, you stopped me so you could see him?"
she looked at vinnie. "You told me she knew." Vinnie raised his voice. before i could say anything, vinnie showed me security camera footage of him pushing her away. I walked up to her and slapped her. A red hand mark already appearing.
"you held me at 3am while i sobbed and you were trying to date him?"
"you don't deserve him!" She yelled. I chose not to go off. Mainly because vinnie noticed i was about too, and rested his hand on my lower back rubbing small circles. "get out, and never bother us again." With that, he closed the door. "Im sorry.." he said lowly. "I swear I thought you knew.. i was gonna tell you what she's doing but she promised me you knew."
"vinnie it's alright.." i chuckled. "now let's pick up where we left off.." he said, kissing me again. he picked me up, and i wrapped my legs around him. with that, he took me to his room and closed the door.
