"here let me help you.." y/n said, reaching down to grab a big heavy pot. "no. i don't want you to get hurt." he said. y/n is currently 4 months pregnant, and vinnie is.. extremely careful when it comes to her.
he doesn't throw her over his shoulder because he's afraid it'll hurt her and the baby.
"come on.. it's not that heavy." She chuckled, reaching down again but he grabbed her arm. "no." He smiled at her. "I got it I promise." He assured. His friends were coming over and he was making dinner.
He didn't want y/ns help because he didn't want her to accidentally cut her or her stomach. it happens, and he didn't want to risk it. He didn't mind if she was in the kitchen just as long she was away from the hot stuff and the knifes. She was never crazy when it came to knifes. he's just looking out for her, making sure she doesn't get hurt.
As he was almost done, his friends walked through the door. she got up to hug them, but instead they attacked her with hugs. "woah!" She said, almost falling back. They liked her when she was dating vinnie, and even after she married him, but ever since she told them she was pregnant they all just love her.
vinnie rushed over to them, placing his hand on her back to keep her from falling. "careful!" he stated. "sorry." They chuckled. They all said hi to vinnie as she rested her hands on her stomach sitting where she originally was watching vinnie cook.
"so y/n, how far along are you now?"
"four and a half months." she smiled at them. vinnie smiled too, but nobody could see. he's madly in love with y/n. no one would've guessed they would've gotten married. they hated each other when they first met. always arguing, calling each other names, they would even push each other and slap one other but not enough to leave a bruise.
they couldn't be in the same room together, they had to have someone else there. one day, they were in the car together, going to get food and it turned into a huge argument. They just couldn't be alone together. She slapped his arm and he did hers. they literally hated each other.
but one day, they were alone again. She hated it, but she was secretly in love with him by now. they had gotten into another argument and she would push, hit and yell but he wouldn't do anything. he just let her. she yelled at him why he wasn't doing anything, and he just kissed her. he pulled away and they looked into each others eyes. she got on her tippy toes and kissed him again, everyone that was inside watching through the window cheered for them.
but when they announced it publicly, everyone was shocked and confused because they hated each other. yes, they did, but he ended up falling in love with her. and now here they are. married for a year, four months pregnant with his baby. They couldn't be happier. they love each other more than they'll ever know.
she admired him as he cooked the food and adores how careful he is around her. it was time for them to eat and vinnie made her a plate. of course he sat next to her, and his friends sat in a circle around the table.
"wow vinnie this is really good!" one of his friends said, stuffing their face. "yeah you should really become a chef." y/n said, kissing his cheek. they always sit close to each other. they have to be touching, they're attached at the hip. but healthy of course.
after dinner, they all helped clean up and everyone was sitting on the couch. they are all playing the game and laughing, etc. Having a good time.
when suddenly, she felt a small push against her stomach. she gasped softly causing vinnie to turn around quickly. "what happened? are you okay?"
she smiled. "she's kicking.." she said and they all stood up putting all their hands against her stomach. "wait.." she said softly. Everyone moved their hands and she grabbed vinnies placing it in the spot she was kicking.
his jaw dropped with a smile, and kissed her stomach. "okay we wanna feel now." they all got excited.
they all put their hands on her stomach and she did one big kick. "oo! That one kinda hurt." She chuckled. They all crowded near her, putting all their body weight on her.
"hey hey.. relax you're probably hurting her." Vinnie spoke softly with a chuckle. He didn't want to seem rude or like a buzz kill, he just wants to protect his wife.
*a few days later*
Y/n and vinnie decided to go to the beach to get some sun and water. Y/n had slipped on her black bikini showing off her little bump.
She got in the water, about to jump over a wave but vinnie had picked her up, cussing him to get hit by a wave. "vinnie!" She laughed.
"Im worried a wave is gonna hit you just right and hurt you and the baby.."
"You're so overprotective and I love it." She said, kissing him as she wrapped her arms around his neck holding onto him.
