I was in my room unboxing some stuff. I had just joined the hype house. Everybody I met seemed nice, and seemed excited that I was joining. but vinnie caught my eye. It was something about him that gave me butterflies. But with everyone else, no. Just him.
But I was ripped out of my thoughts when I heard a knock on the door. "yeah?" I turned around. The door opened and it was chase. But I was hoping it would be vinnie. "hey.." he smiled. I smiled back. "can i.." he pointed to the bed. "go ahead." I chuckled.
He sat down. he got to know me, and I got to know him as I was unpacking. but during this whole time, I couldn't get vinnie off my mind. By then it was 1:30am. "I think I'm gonna go to bed now.. I'm pretty exhausted." I laughed. He got off the bed, and told me goodnight.
"night." I said with a smile. if it were a goodnight i would be saying night to vinnie. I hadn't been laying down that long before I became thirsty. I went downstairs to get water. but I heard muffled screams and bangs coming from a room. boldly, I went up and knocked on the door. "come in." he said frustrated.
I slowly opened the door poking my head through to see him at his desk with his headset on. Once he saw me he immediately took it off. "hey y/n.. you alright?" he asked concerned. "yeah.. just came down to get water then I heard you and came to check if you were okay.." I giggled quietly. He smiled at me. "im okay.. sorry if i woke you."
"no i was already up.." i couldn't get the smile to go away. "goodnight vinnie."
"goodnight y/n.." he said. and i closed the door. the butterflies in my stomach were insane. and my heart was doing flips.
it was now the next day, and I showered and did my hair, basically getting ready for the day. I needed to go to target to get a couple things for my room. It was 12pm and I grabbed my keys and phone, passing vinnies room which was right next to mine. "leaving already?" he joked, startling me a little. I turned around and I laughed. "no im just running to target to get some stuff.."
"want me to come with you? i can also show you around." He suggested. a big smile grew on my face, and I'm sure he noticed my red cheeks. "yeah that would be great."
"are you leaving right now?" He questioned. I nodded and he went down with me to the front door. He immediately rushed to the front door to open it for me. "thank you.." i smiled. I was shocked because no guy other than my family has opened doors for me. I've had boyfriends in the past but they've all been jerks who cheated and played the victim.
We got in my car, and I looked up directions before vinnie stopped me. "I can tell you the way.." i didn't want to make it too much trouble so I told him it was okay. the car ride was quiet, but it was more of a comfortable quiet than uncomfortable. We arrived to the store and he immediately got out running to my side to open the door for me.
