I was packing my bag, heading to florida to see my family. Me and vinnie had gotten into an argument as i was packing and he's currently not talking to me. I hated fighting before we left. He was playing his game with his headset on so he couldn't hear my cries or if I was even done packing, which I now was. I took my suitcase off our bed, and made sure I had everything.
"Im leaving." I said. i knew he could hear me, but he didn't say anything. "whatever." I mumbled under my breath. I got in my car and headed to the airport. I look over in the passenger seat wishing vinnie was next to me right now. but no, we get into a fight and he doesn't even want to say bye to his girlfriend.
I arrived at the airport and parked my car, getting out and getting my suitcase. I headed inside and went through security. The sun was down, and i wish vinnie had said bye to me. I sat at my gate, debating if I should get some snacks. After thinking for a while, i decided to just get some snacks because plane snacks suck sometimes.
As I was at the store looking around I heard someone say my name. I turned around and saw no one. a few more minutes went by before I heard my name again, but sounded closer and the voice was familiar. I turned around and saw vinnie standing there, out of breath and hair all messy. I set the snack on my bag and jumped on him.
He put his hand on the back of my thigh, moving it so it would wrap around him. "what are you doing here?" I questioned as he set me down, looking up at him. "I couldn't let you go while we're on bad terms." He smiled. "look, im sorry for everything.. especially not saying bye to you, or driving you to the airport. it was out of line."
"it's okay.." i giggled. "im just so happy to see you.." i smiled. he kissed me with a smile. he grabbed my snacks and tried to pay, but i pushed him out of the way, but then he slightly pushed me as the cashier laughed. "so cute.." she whispered. vinnie ended up paying. "thank you.."
he kissed my head and walked me to my gate and sat with me on the floor because all the seats were taken. I rested my head on his shoulder. "come with me.." i mumbled. "what?"
"come with me.. you have extra clothes at my parents." I smiled. "I don't know how your parents would feel if I show up uninvited.."
I pulled out my phone and called my mom. I asked if vinnie could come with me, and she was super thrilled about it. "mom said she'd be more than happy." He chuckled and pulled out his ticket. We finally started boarding, and he of course sat next to me. I rested my head on his shoulder and with that, i fell asleep.
