*5:45am*
Quietly, I got out of bed and ran to the bathroom closing the door quietly and began to throw up a lot. I'm 3 weeks pregnant and vinnie doesn't know yet, I wanted to tell him for his birthday which is today. He came in shortly after. "are you okay?" his sleepy voice asked.
I nodded. "Must've been dinner.." I mumbled, lying to him. "im sorry baby.. we won't eat there again.." he rubbed my back. I flushed and he helped me up. I washed my face and brushed my teeth and laid back down. "Happy birthday.." i whispered, kissing his forehead. "thank you." He whispered with a beautiful smile. He pulled me close and I fell asleep.
*7pm*
"ready baby?" I asked, slipping on my heels. "mhmm.." he smiled and kissed me passionately. His friends were throwing him a party. His lips eventually left mine, and we headed that way. I started to feel sick again but i tried not to make it obvious because I didn't want him to get suspicious. We arrived and the music was loud, there were a lot of people here.
We got out of the car and his hand immediately went around my waist holding me close to him. His friends immediately came up to him, cheering, picking him up and taking him away from me. I giggled and sighed in relief because I had something to do to surprise him. "Im sorry! I love you!" He yelled. "I love you too.." I said quietly because i knew he wouldn't be able to hear me.
Once I saw he turned the corner, I got in his car and headed to the store. I grabbed a happy birthday balloon, a baby bodysuit that says 'i love you daddy!' And some tiny shoes to go with it. I hurry home and set everything back up, when I get a message from vinnie. "where are you? I've looked everywhere and can't find you."
"In the bathroom, I'll be out in a sec." I lied. "are you sick again? Im sorry baby.."
"No i just had to pee lol"
I put tissue paper on the bottom of the box, and first I laid the pregnancy test down, then the ultrasound on top, then the baby bodysuit and the tiny shoes next to it. All he would see were the shoes and bodysuit, but he would have to remove everything to see more. It looked good, so I closed the box and tied the balloon to the box and headed back to the party.
He saw me and immediately walked over to me. "are you sure you weren't sick again?" He whispers, his hand on my waist. "im okay vinnie i promise." I chuckle. A couple hours had gone by after they sang happy birthday to him. By now, it was 11pm and he was ready to go back.
We said our byes to everyone and got in the car. "Now don't judge me, but I'm gonna change." I giggled, pulling out some sleep shorts and one of his shirts. I push my straps off my shoulders and let my dress fall to my ankles, taking my heels off and slipping on the shorts and his shirt. The car ride home felt like forever because i had a big surprise for him. The closer we got, the more nervous I became.
What if he doesn't want a baby yet? What if he divorces me? What if he yells and throws things? What if he demands an abortion? "y/n.." he pulled me out of my thoughts. "Hm?" I looked over at him. "we're here."
All my worries went away, and i hurried him out of the car. "Okay, cover your eyes." I put his hands over his eyes. I guided him inside and closed the door behind him. I walked next to the counter where the small box was. "okay.. and open." I smiled.
He removed his hands and smiled at what i had did. he walked closer to the box about to open it. "is something gonna jump out at me?" he whispered. "i don't know.. guess you'll find out and see." i smiled. He opened the box and looked at the bodysuit, and the shoes. "wha.." he realized what it meant.
His smile became bigger and his jaw dropped. He picked up the clothing, and saw the ultrasound. Tears formed in his eyes as he set the stuff down and picked me up spinning me around. "are you really pregnant?" I nodded wiping his tears away. I lifted my shirt. Even though I'm only 3 weeks im showing a tiny bit. But everybody's different when it comes to showing and i swear, nothing goes unnoticed by vinnie.
He got on his knees and kissed all over my stomach. "I love you so much already.." he mumbled against my stomach. He picked me up again. "we're gonna be a family.." we both cried. vinnie always wanted to become a dad, and we always talked about having a kid or two. He kissed me repeatedly. "i love you.." he whispered against my lips.
"I love you."
"How far along are you?" He set me down gently. "3 weeks."
"When did you find out?"
"Last week.. i just wanted to surprise you." I leaned up to kiss him. "best surprise I've ever gotten." He kissed me again. I've never seen him so happy.
