Me and vinnie were in our room laughing when we heard the front door open and everyone yelling 'hey!'
Me and vinnie headed downstairs and saw Reggie. Vinnie ran down and gave him a big hug. "I missed you man!" Vinnie said as i continued to walk down the stairs. "y/n.." he said, a smile growing across his face.
"hey!" I gave him a side hug. He looks down at me as I stood next to vinnie and his smile faded. "I gotta go get food.." i pecked vinnies lips. "I'll go with you to help." Reggie said, his eyes lighting up. "Okay, let's go."
*in the car, on the way back home*
"Y/n i need to tell you something.." he slowly looked over at me. "Yeah, what is it?" I always made it known he could talk to me about anything. "I like you." My head shot to his as we stopped at a red light. "what..?" I thought he was joking at first. "Ever since vinnie brought you to meet us, I liked you ever since but you're with him so I never said anything.."
"Oh.. look I.. I don't feel the same about you. I like vinnie a lot. And I'm sorry if I hurt your feelings because I know we're close but.. I'm sorry."
"Hey, I get it, you're with him and you love him but it never hurts to try."
I was confused on why he wanted to be with me knowing i was with vinnie. It made me a little uncomfortable so I hurried home. The entire car ride was silent until we pulled up in the driveway. I got out of the car and vinnie took the food as Reggie ran inside. "what happened?" Vinnie asked.
"Nothing.." i shook my head. Vinnie made it clear I could talk to him about anything and he wouldn't get mad. But i was nervous to tell him about this because I don't know he he's going to react, or if he'll get mad and tell me to be with him even though I don't feel the same. I felt he didn't need to know that he still tried to get with me while we are together.
We sat at the table, vinnie sat next to me of course and Reggie sat on the other side. It was obvious something had happened between us. Vinnie looked at both of us with furrowed eyebrows. He didn't hesitate to grab my hand and take me up to the room.
"Baby, what happened in the car?" He was too worried. I ran my hand down my face shaking my head. "Did he touch you?" "No, of course not."
"Kiss you?" I shook my head.
"Then what happened baby? You can talk to me you know that."
I exhaled deeply. "He told me he liked me.." I looked up at him. "He said he likes you?" I nodded. "He said that ever since you brought me to your house he's liked me ever since but never did anything because I'm with you."
"Why didn't you tell me?" His voice remained calm, his hands now on my hips. "Because I didn't know how you would react.." I was hesitant to look into his eyes. "Im not mad at you.. him on the other hand is gonna ge-"
"No, vinnie.. don't do anything it's fine I promise.. I'm sure it won't be awkward by tomorrow.. okay? Just don't start any problems, I told him I didn't feel the same. I love you and only you."
He pecked my lips, and we headed back downstairs.
