I woke up and saw that y/n wasn't next to me anymore. Why did she leave? She has a room, but shes hardly in it cause she's always in mine. Even some of her shower stuff is in my shower.
I washed my face and brushed my teeth only to see it's raining outside. I knocked softly and opened her door. "y/n?" I walked in and she sniffled. "jeez baby, it's hot in here.. you alright?" I walked over to her to see at least 4 or 5 blankets on top of her.
I kneeled in front of her go see a trash can with nothing in it. She shook her head. "what's wrong? Why do you have so many blankets on you?" Her eyes widened and she picked up her trash and began to throw up in it, a lot. I rubbed her back and holding her hair back. She set the trash down as tears ran down her face.
"Im sick. I found out at 3am and left your room so I wouldn't wake you.." she mumbled, her voice cracking, telling me she's losing her voice. I had an idea. "stay here.." i kissed her forehead. she curled back into the blankets as i took out the bag and threw it away. I went into her bathroom, closing the door and turned the bath water on. I filled it up with warm water, putting her favorite bubbles in them and a bath pillow for her back so she can be comfortable.
After everything was set up, I went back into the room to see her on the phone, eyes fluttering open and then closed, then open again. "come on.. I got a bath going for you."
She smiled weakly. "thank you." She tried to say but nothing came out. I removed all the layers of the blankets and grabbed her hands taking her to the bathroom. Her skin was cold and she was pale. I helped her remove some of her clothes because she was weak and shaky and she got in the bath. "I'll come back to check on you, just relax." I kissed her forehead. She nodded with a smile.
I left the bathroom door cracked and closed her bedroom door. I went down to make her some soup. "We still going out later?" One of my friends asked me. "Im not going tonight.. y/ns sick and I'm taking care of her." I smiled just at the thought of her.
"I mean what about when she's asleep?" I immediately shook my head. "she needs to me, wether she won't admit it she does, and I'm not leaving. sorry." I finished with the soup and grabbed her a sprite setting it on a bed tray, and taking it up to her room. I set it on her dresser and knocked on the door. "y/n..?" She didn't answer.
I slowly opened the door and saw her curled up in a ball asleep in the bath, with her head on the side of the tub. I drained the water and stroked her hair, to which her eyes slowly fluttered open. I grabbed her hands and she stood up slowly. "I feel terrible." Her voice continued to crack more than usual.
"Im sorry baby.. I wish I could take it away." I kissed her head. She wrapped herself in a towel and rushed to the toilet, throwing up again. She flushed and stood up, putting her clothes on. She leaned over the sink brushing her teeth as I braided both sides of her hair. I never knew how, but I learned just for her. For reasons like this.
