vinnie was over the moon happy about me being pregnant. he was jumping around, he picked me up and spun me around, he ran around the entire apartment building telling everyone he was going to be a dad. vinnie was at his house, getting ready to come over.

currently, i was sitting on the couch. i had just told my brother i was pregnant. "are you that stupid?" he yelled at me. i looked down. he was my older brother. he always looked out for me and cared for me. "you're 20 years old y/n! you can't have a baby!"

"and why not?!" i yelled back. "you can't even take care of yourself." he confessed. that one hurt. "hello! look at where i live! i take such good care of it! im in such good shape and i eat normal. i drink plenty of water! is that not good enough?!" i yelled back, tempted to stand up and get into his face. "why did you even sleep with him in the first place? i said date, not sleep!" he continued to yell at me. "it just happened okay." i sniffled. "you're not keeping it." my head shot up and i looked into his dark eyes. "yes i am! me and vinnie want this." i stated.

"you're too young! enjoy your twenty's! don't waste it on some stupid baby." i stood up. "you watch your mouth! i love this baby more than anyone will ever know. you have no right to tell me how to live. me and vinnie may not be ready, but we're gonna try. im not giving him or her up for adoption nor am i aborting it. i dont care what you think about me or my baby! a real brother would be supportive." i defended. he had no right at all. what he said was way out of line.

he sighed and walked out the door. "that baby better be aborted next time i see you." he stated, slamming the door. i wasnt going to kill my baby. i sat back on the couch and sobbed. soon, vinnie walked through the door. "baby!" he called. he set whatever he had down and came over to me. he kneeled in front of me. "hey.. what the matter?" his voice was soft and sweet. "i told my brother i was pregnant." i sniffled, grabbing his hand that was on my knee. "shouldn't you be smiling?" he asked confused. "he didn't take it very well. he called me stupid, said we weren't ready and told me to... kill it." i sniffled.

his jaw clenched. "listen to me." he made me look at him. "no one is ever ready to have a baby. no one. you're not stupid, it takes two to make a baby. maybe we should've thought about protection, but this was obviously meant to happen to us. i know how much you love this baby. you know how much i love this baby. he doesn't know what he's talking about. we got this." he assured, pressing a gentle kiss to my forehead. i nodded and wrapped my arms around his neck as he hugged me.

it was the gender reveal party. y/n was pretty nervous. she hasn't spoken to her brother since the day she told him. she doesn't understand why he's so upset with it, and it breaks my heart that i listen to her call him all the time and he doesn't respond. "we used to be so close." she always tells me. and i always tell her. "he'll come around." but her brother wasn't even a thing on her mind. her leg was bouncing up and down as i drove us to my parents house.

she had a smile on her face. "im so excited." she smiled big. she was wearing a beige colored dress and curled her hair. she looks breathtaking. she had a little bump. and let me just tell you, she looks absolutely adorable with her baby bump. when we got there, the first thing she did was look for her brother. i saw it in her eyes. but he wasn't here. she hugged everybody.

(trying not to make this too long!)

eventually it was time for the big reveal. her brother never showed. we were standing in front of a bunch of balloons with stuff behind them. they counted down to 5, and y/n held onto my hand tightly. i looked down and she had a smile on her face. they made it to one, and pink and white smoke, plus confeti, and fireworks were pink. her jaw dropped and she jumped on me.

I spun her around, and kissed her. yet still no sight of her brother. it was truly heartbreaking that he was doing this to her. but other than that, im gonna be a girl dad. i cannot wait.

*4 months later*

"why can't i go? you're not my mom!" she yelled at me. today was her brothers birthday dinner and she wasn't even invited. it was 9pm and thunderstorming so bad. "if you go something could happen to you and my baby!" i defended back. "our baby." she crossed her arms. "im not stupid! he's my brother. i need to talk to him anyway." she tried to grab the keys from my hand. "no y/n. you're not going anywhere, i dont feel comfortable with you driving in this weather. something could easily happen to you."

"you're being unreasonable." she stated, reaching up to grab the keys. "i said no!" i accidentally yelled, slamming the keys down on the counter. she flinched at the sound of my voice. she looked up at me with fear in her eyes. her eyes watered. "baby im sorry.." my eyes softened. her lip quivered and she walked to the bedroom, closing the door on me. i opened the door, and she closed the bathroom door. "baby.." i turned the knob and it was locked. "baby im sorry.. i didn't mean to yell. open the door." it was silent.

i kept knocking on the door. nothing. "okay, im leaving." i said. i wasnt actually going to leave. i sat on the edge of the bed. after 15 minutes, she came out and sat on my lap, straddling me. her arms wrapped around my neck, and mine went around her waist. "im so sorry." i mumbled into her neck. she shook her head. "don't worry about it." she whispered, removing my shirt. she removed hers and pressed her body against me. she loved skin to skin.

i laid us down, and she curled into me as i drew shapes on her back.

i stared at him as he held our daughter. he was in love. he moved his finger up and down her nose as he smiled down at her. "she's so beautiful." he whispered, looking at me. a knock on the door ripped me out of my thoughts. vinnie opened the door since I just gave birth and struggled to get up. it was my brother. vinnie handed her to me, and led him outside. i could hear their conversation.

"what are you doing here?" vinnie asked. "im here to see my niece." "now you're interested? you ignored her her whole pregnancy." he defended. "i know and i feel bad, can i please just see my niece?" he begged. "let me talk to y/n." he opened the door and i shook my head no. he turned around. "sorry." vinnie shrugged and he walked off. he looked over at me, and sat on the bed. i smiled at him as i glanced between him and our daughter. she was a spitting image of vinnie. all she had was my dark brown hair.

i was streaming while holding nicole. she was only two months. she was a happy happy baby. always smiling. she was smiling at my fans. yet she didn't know they could see her. y/n was in the shower. "how old is she? two months." i read the comments. "right baby." i smiled down at her, making her laugh. she wasn't quite able to hold her head up, but i had her on my arm with her head against my chest. "she looks just like you.. no she's definitely y/n. they look so much alike." i laughed.

soon y/n came out, and sat on my lap, picking up nicole and cradling her as she fell asleep. "did you finally propose to y/n? yes i did." I answered as they saw the ring on her finger. "when is the wedding? in 3 months." she smiled. "we're pretty excited." i said, as I watched her get up and put nicole in the bassinet. she sat back in my lap, and kissed my head. "didn't you two just start dating? like a year ago. but when you know you know. and I definitely know." i smiled, leaning up to kiss her.
