NAVINA
I knock on Caden's door with a perky attitude. I'm not really excited to sneak through his custody fathers stuff but, it is what it is. Cadne said River left a half hour ago just now so I scrambled out of bed and ran here. I need to hellp Caden. I don't care about anything else. He's in danger and I have to help. I love him.
When i get to his door i knock. Tapping on the door i turn around seeing no cars in the driveway and i wait for him to open the door. After a good minute the door swings open and caden comes into view. I look him up and down seeing no injuries. I breath a fresh of air and i smile at him. "Pretty boy." i greet nodding weirdly. "Let's get to work shall we? Where to start?" i than ask as i walk in the house.
He has a pair of dark blue baggy jeans and a black long sleeve top. I notice his hair frizzled like normal and his pools of gray eyes piercing as ever. His lips are the plumpest and reddest shade I have ever seen. His nose is the sharpest and his cheekbones are high and defined like they were sculpted His arched eyebrows showed his pale gray eyes more.
Ugh he's gorgeous.
I hear the door close behind me and look around his house. Stairs are right in front of the doorway and I notice the chipped paint on the railing... There's a kitchen right in front that's more open than mine. There's a living right beside it too. This house looks so much like mine too. I'm pretty sure that's the point though. I turn around look at him.
He pockets his hands as he looks at me. "How did you know the river was gone?" he then asks with a confused glance.
I frown. "You told me." I then said,
He frowns to buy for a minute then he nods. "Oh right." he then said "Um we can start..." he glances around the house. But i walk up to him.
"You don't remember texting me?'' I thank you.
"Ya... i just had a brain fog." he then says, shaking his head slightly.
I frown but not knowing he's not going to tell me. I smile as I go on my tippy toes to reach him. My lips plant pon his and his devour mine hungrily. My hands then go down from his neck and I go back to my height and smile. His cheeks a little flushed and i feel mine are to
"Where would he hide stuff?" I then asked.
"Well... ethier in his room, maybe his car but we can't get in there... the kitchen." I see Adam's apple bob. "The last time he took a gun out from the floorboard so there might be something in the kitchen... but he's also smart so he probably wouldn't have the same hiding place twice." he then explains, seeming to get in his brain.
"So... shall we start in his room?" I then thought out loud.
He nods. "Yes that's a good idea then if he comes back we should already be downstairs and the only bad thing that would happen is you talking to him." he then said.
I nod. "Okay let's skedaddle. What are we looking for exactly? Like a file or?"
He shrugs "probably a file... maybe a usb drive." he then says as we walk up the stairs. The floorboards creak under our weight. I walk up first and as we reach the top floor the eerie silence greets us.
"It's so quiet." I whisper as I follow caden since I don't know where River's room is.
"Ya it's early." he then says what i was just thinking. We walk up to a room the door is closed and it's right by the ledge. You can see the front door from here. There's a wood railing on top of the hardwood floors. Caden opens the door, it seems so slow as the door opens but once it does the bright sun lights up my eyes.
