NAVINA

It's been a couple days. It's now Sunday and winter break is so soon, I'm counting the days. It on wednesday. But I'll probably spend most of my winter break studying and staying in my room. I haven't seen caden anywhere since Friday but there's no school so there's not a one hundred percent chance I could see him. I haven't been texting him recently, I don't know why. I just took what eden said to me. Trust me i'm not giving up but maybe with space caden will come to his senses.

I hope so.

I sigh as I put my book down and get out of bed. I changed into outside attire, and snow has been falling more and more. The driveway is practically all snow. It may not be very high but it is for riverside. It's not that snowy here, just cold. Well freezing. But not snowy. Once I put on sweatpants and a long sleeve soft gray sweater that's a little tight and a black longer jacket over top I rush downstairs.

You might be wondering where i am going. Answers simple. To Caden's, of course. I noticed the black SUV is vacant and not in the driveway. Neither is the other car. So this is my opportunity to talk to caden. I slide on my black boots and leave the house. Since I haven't been texting him for a few days, maybe I can get him back.

My dad hasn't left town yet since another case hasn't come up but he and my mom are going out for dinner today so I took this opportunity. I start striding over to his house. The cold breeze freezing my cheeks and my mouth as i walk over. As i reach the stairs my ears are practically glass.

I knock on his door and then ring the bell. I tap my foot on the cement area waiting and waiting. I'm feeling strong and determined so this is most definitely happening.

I finally see a black shadow of a man walking to the door. I sit up straight, my spine straight and staring right at cadence height. The door flings open and I smile up at him with a mischievous smile. "Hey pretty boy. What's up?" I say chippery. "Can i come in it is colder than a witches coochie on a sunday night.'' I then say and move past him to get into his house. I sigh constantly as I see his eyeballs practically fall out of high eye sockets.

"What are you doing here?" he then asks with such a... surprised face i'd say.

"I'm here... because..." I look up and around trying to find a reasonable explanation instead of saying the obvious. "I am here in your house because we are friends and I haven't seen you in a while."

He scoffs. "Friends who kiss."

"Kissed.'' I then corrected it. "With the 'e' and 'd' kissed. We don't anymore. You made sure of that you jerk.'' I roll my eyes and I start looking around.

"Seriously, Navina you should go." he says.

"You kicking me out already pretty boy?" i say putting a hand over my heart. "Im hurt. Truly and unruly hurt. Now let's go out and do something." I then saw the house looking eerily clean. I also notice a few knick knacks that changed. The whole and airy feeling in this house that always scared me was gone... maybe it's because the river isn't here goth now or...

No, I'm not going there. Once an abusive/murderer/asshole, always an abusive/murderer/ asshole.

"Seriously you have to leave." he then says and i see his attire. He's wearing black jeans that are baggier around his legs, combat boots he always wears and a black hoodie.

"Why?" I then asked him to walk closer to him. My pointer finger goes on his chest and I tilt my head pouting my lips. I then looked up at him. "Do you not like me anymore?" I then asked and put my full hand right above his chest hearing the pounding in his heart. I smirk. "'Cause your heart tells a different story, pretty boy." I then said, My face is now way closer to him. I can feel his cool breath flaking around my lips.
