CHAPTER 47

NAVINA

"Absolutely not." Eden says, shaking her head at my outfit. It's just a pair of jeans and a white tank top. Sighing, my hands tumble to their sides.

"It's a party, not a strip club." I then said, I have probably tried a million dresses in the span of one hour. One seemingly long hour.

"That's why you need to look your best." she says.

Scowling at her i turn on my heel my socked feet sliding harshly and hot against the carpet as i go back in my closet closing the door i look at the long list of clothes i have on the rack, and find a black silky dress that's a little ruffled at the bottom. I change and look at the dress in the mirror. My hourglass figure showed a lot as the sides of the dress bunched up a tad as I moved it around. The bottom of the dress is ruffled and stopping around mid thigh. The straps are practically spaghetti and show a little cleavage. I tilt my head trying to see what would go well with it.

Maybe fishnets, a pair of boots with white socks and... that's all.

"Amazing. Yes. yes. That's perfect." Eden says getting up her own pink tank top and black skirt showing more. Also her black tights that have a bunch of holes in them, her shoes are black and combat boots. "Finally!' I sigh as I grab my phone and I put it in the waistband of my panties and put it back down. I put on some jewelry and then we head out to the new years eve party at deans house.

I thought... Well Eden thought it would take my mind off my thighs. It's been three days since I went to see caden. School starts in four days and the river trial starts in only two. This week is going to be one hectic week. I'm just worried that caden would bail.. I'm not sure exactly what else is going on with him but I really hope he comes to his senses. Maybe Jesper can help, since I obviously failed.

"Hey don't let him bring you down. It's a new year. Live a little.'''' Eden says as we walk up to the dean's house the loud music and lights blaring from the big house.

"Are you saying I don't live?" I then ask with a slightly bruised brow.

"I mean... well..."

"You totally are! Fine, then I will." i say. I do live.

"You did. I mean when you were with caden... '' she then mentions .

I start to remember all the fun times we had. All the moments with him were something I could watch in a movie. The screens play sad, happy and adventurous moments. All of which I am grateful for. I'm glad I had a chance to have a caden in my life. But i hope it isn't the last of memories i have made with him.

"O-M-G" Eden then says and I frown as I look in front of her seeing Debby Ryan's boyfriend Ryan with another girl. I scoff, smiling.

"Looks like mister player is living up to his name." i say

"God I can't wait till I can shove it in Debby's face. Take a pic." Eden then says and I'm already two steps ahead of her, pulling my phone out and taking a picture. The girl has brown hair and her body is like perfect in that black cropped tank top and low waisted skinny jeans. I don't think I have ever seen someone pull off skinny jeans like this girl . "and she's way prettier than Debbie." I then say my inner thoughts.

"On a whole other level." eden musters as we giggle and walk to the red liquid filled plastic big bowl.

CADEN

I walk around the boxing ring to the bench with no one on it. People clamor and holler around as I see one of the lights go down. I can't actually see much since I'm in the back and sitting but I can hear it. The loud grunts and groans, the sound of punching and all.

I already got my chance to fight this month in the ring. In all honesty I did great. I beat all of my four opponents even so much so that I made it to the last round, and I won the award.
