Jensen Ackles x Reader

Summary: You've been best friends with Jensen since you were little and know everything about him everyone asks you if you love him and every time they do you say no but you do love him.

I stand off to the side of the stage as a smile tugs my lips as I watch my best friend of fifteen years answer questions from the crowd. My best friend just so happened to be Jensen Ackles, we had met in school and he had helped tutor me with r/s and we had become close friends. After answering several questions Jensen says, "Okay so I have my best friend Y/N with me would you like me to bring her out?" The crowd erupts into deafening cheers as I get passed an extra mic and make my way out onto the stage. I wave to the audience as I make my way over to Jensen wrapping him in a hug before going over to Jared. I take a seat on a stool as the crowd dies down from their cheering. I look over at Jensen with a huge smile on my face as I take in his beautiful candy-apple green eyes, I'm pulled back to reality when I hear someone ask if they could ask me a question. I nod and they ask, "Y/N are you in love with Jensen?" I say, "No." Lie. I've been in love with Jensen for as long as I can remember, I knew everything about him. Born on the first, his sister's beautiful, and knows how to play guitar. I know he would never see me as more than a friend so I have to keep my love for him to myself and pray that he never finds out.  

Once the panel is over Jared, Jensen, and I make our way off the stage and hand back our mics. As soon as the microphone is out of my hand Jensen pulls me into a hug and whispers, "Thanks for being here. You're the best friend I could ever have." I feel my heart clench at the word friend and I smile on the outside as I cry on the inside.
