Summary: You are secretly married to Nick, but the team doesn't know until Nick calls you for help on a case one day.

Warnings: Just mentions of dead bodies and murder.

Author's Note: No note just that I really like Nick from the CSI. Also, slight Supernatural crossover if you squint.

Nick's POV: I sit in the conference room looking over the case with the rest of the team all of us confused as to how this case was panning out. None of it made any sense, the evidence didn't line up with the timeline. I hear Grissom say from across the table, "We need a fresh set of eyes on this case." I begin reviewing the notes when something suddenly clicks in my brain. I reply, "I might be able to help with that." They all look at me and I grab my phone and immediately punch in Y/N's number. It rings for a few and I mutter out, "Come on pick up." No sooner have the words left my mouth than I hear, "Hello?" I say, "Hey how are you today?" Immediately her voice perks up and she asks, "What can I do for you?" I say, "Well I need you to come take a look at something. We have a case that isn't making sense and quite honestly it might just be your thing," The line is quiet for a moment before she says, "Alright I'll be there in fifteen." I smile and say, "Alright I'll see you soon."

I go back into the conference room to see everyone looking at me and I say, "I've got someone who will be here in about fifteen minutes." They all nod before getting up and walking around to stretch their legs while we wait.

I've just finished getting a cup of coffee when I feel my phone buzz in my pocket. I take it out and see there's a text from Y/N that simply states I'm here. I put my phone back in my pocket find Grissom and simply say, "They're here." He nods and goes to gather the rest of the team while I grab Y/N. As soon as I enter the lobby and I see her I can't help but smile. Yes, I had a hard job but seeing her always made my day better and the job worth it. I go over to her and as soon as she sees me her face lights up and I embrace her before crashing my lips onto hers. When we pulled away her face flushed but she quickly composed herself before asking, "Now what did you need my help with?" I take her hand and gently walk her back to the lab area.

We come to a stop outside the door to the conference room and I we come to a stop and I say, "You ready?" She nods her head and I grasp the knob to the room and turn it before pushing the door open and walking inside with Y/N behind me. As soon as we're inside all eyes are on us. They're looking between me and Y/N and our entwined hands when I clear my throat and say, "Guys this is Y/N. My wife." I watch as their eyes widen before Grissom asks, "How is she going to help us?" Before I can say anything, she steps forward and says, "If you don't mind me saying I have an eye for shall we say, unique and interesting cases." They all share a look but allow her to step forward and begin looking over the case.

We all watch as she picks up pictures here and there while also looking over our notes from the scene but also asking us questions. I watch her impressed until I hear her ask, "Were there any unusual smells at the scene?" Before I can speak up Catherine says, "Yeah. It smelled like rotten eggs." Y/N's head snaps up to look at her before asking, "Like sulfur?" Catherine nods, and Y/N asks, "The timeline isn't lining up why?" Sarah begins to explain the timeline while Y/N listens with interest until I see her eyes light up like she just thought of something. She says, "The timeline looks like it doesn't add up but it does when you see the whole picture." Grissom asks, "So explain it then." I watch entranced as Y/N begins to speak, "Well the first victim clearly died in their house first by the stabbing that was inflicted by the body. Once the victim was dead several hours later the second victim was killed by the first victim in the shooting. Which means that I have some work to do." I watch as she grabs her things before walking out of the room and I quickly get up and follow her out.

I meet her by her car and she turns and faces me I place my hands on her hips and say, "So what are you hunting?" She smirks at me and says, "Well first victim was killed by a demon which explains the sulfur smell at the first crime scene then a shapeshifter came along and took on the form of the victim before killing the second person." I nod at her before tucking a piece of hair behind her ear and saying, "Well be careful okay? Let me know when you get back." She nods and I kiss her one last time before she gets in the car.

I make my way back into the conference room and see everyone staring at me when I hear Warrick say, "You have a lot of explaining to do." I look at their expectant faces and sigh knowing I will have to answer all of their questions and they won't be satisfied until I do. I sigh and sit down in a chair before I ask, "Okay what do you want to know?" Warrick is the first to speak and he asks the question I was expecting, "How long have you been married and why didn't you say anything?" I reply, "We got married a few weeks after I was taken and I didn't say anything because I don't want her getting hurt because of my job. Not that hers is that much safer." Catherine asks, "So if you're married where's your ring?" I grab the chain around my neck that has my ring on it and say, "I always wear it like this and so does she." Grissom is the next to speak asking, "What exactly does she do for a living?" I begin nervously fidgeting not sure what to say. Y/N had told me what she actually does for a living but I wasn't quite sure what to say. The silence stretches on and Catherine asks, "Yeah, and what did she mean by she has an eye for unique and interesting cases." I sigh and begin cautiously, "Well her family works in law enforcement and they deal with weird cases like what we had today." They don't seem entirely happy with my answer but they switch the topic as Sarah asks, "How did you two meet?" I feel my face flush before I reply, "Well she may or may not have hustled me out of some money at a bar." Everyone laughs as I think back to that fateful night.

I stepped into the bar after another long day of dealing with death and I needed to relax. I head over to the bar and order a beer as I take in the room and what catches my eye is the group of people playing pool in the back of the bar. I slowly make my way over and see there two people in the middle of a game while a few others watch and a girl is leaning against the wall with y/h/ y/h/c, and y/e/c. I watch the game in progress until one of the men wins. The one who wins collects some money from the corner of the pool table when the girl pushes herself off the wall and walks over, pulling some money from her pocket. She sets down a crisp one hundred dollar bill on the table and says in a melodic voice, "I'd like to play." The guys share a look but allow her to step up to the table. They play and to say the girl isn't good is an understatement. Once the game is over they go to take the money but she says, "Wait I'd like to play another game. She pulls out another hundred-dollar bill and sets it down, looking around and waiting for one of the men to step forward and accept the challenge. When none of them do I step forward and say, "I'll play you." I pull some money from my wallet and add it to the already exists and she motions for me to break first so I do. I sink a few of the balls before it is her turn. And once she takes the first shot I know I'm already gone. She sinks two balls on the first shot before moving around the table towards me and sinks another ball before missing. I step up to take my turn and I sink a few more before missing. When the girl steps up again she walks past me and get a whiff of her perfume and it throws me off a little. I watch as she continues to sink one ball after another until they're all in. Once the eight ball is in she sets down her pool cue and grabs the money off the table before walking over to the bar. Still in a daze, I follow her and I sit next to her, and before I can even say anything she snaps out, "Not interested." I reply, "Don't worry. Not trying anything." She turns to look at me and she looks taken aback for a moment so I ask, "What's your name?" She smiles at me and holds out her hand saying, "Y/N." I shake her hand and reply, "Nick."

After a few more questions we get up to leave when I hear Grissom say, "Well I think we all would like to see her and get to know her a little better." I look around and see all their eager faces as they nod in agreement and say, "Well I'll let her know." Before standing up and walking out, once I'm out of the room I feel my phone buzz again and I pull it out and see a simple text from Y/N saying Home  I smile to myself knowing I would get to go home and see my beautiful wife.
