Author's Note: Sorry I haven't done a Jon Snow imagine in a while so here's another one. Also, I might be considering adding a few Vampire Diaries imagines to the book so I might post some and see how they do before permanently adding them to the book.
I look around with a soft smile at the familiar scenery, it had been a long time since I had been this far north but it hadn't changed much since I was last here. My parents had sent me to Winterfell when I was younger since war was breaking out at our home and they didn't want me in the middle of it. I had stayed at Winterfell for a number of years and had grown quite close to the Stark children. The one I had grown particularly close to was the bastard son, Jon Snow, there was something about him that made me feel comfortable around him and I found him easy to talk to. The carriage comes to a stop and I feel nerves settle in my body as I take a deep breath before opening the door and stepping out.
I look around and see all of Winterfell is gathered for my arrival back. I begin walking down the aisle that everyone has made until I get to the end, where I see the remaining Starks. I smile when I come to a stop in front of them, I see Sansa is wearing her hair down with a few braids in it, I notice Arya has gotten taller and her hair longer since I last saw her, and Bran's hair is a little longer as well. But what strikes me is Jon. His hair is pulled back and his face looks older with a few scars on it here and there. I smile at them all and say politely, "Thank you for inviting me back." Jon doesn't say anything but Arya steps forwards and wraps me in a hug. I smile down at her as we begin walking inside.
I'm unpacking my trunk and putting my clothes away when I hear a knock on my door and I say softly, "Come in." I hear the door creak open and I straighten up turning around to see who it is and my breath catches when I see that it's Jon. I feel my heart start to race as all the feelings I felt for him when I was younger start coming back. I wait for him to speak as he looks around the room before asking, "Are you settling in okay?" I nod and say, "Thank you for asking." Before either of us can say anything something nudges its way past Jon and begins making its way over to me. I take it in and realize it's a pure white direwolf. My eyes light up and I crouch down to its level as it begins to rub its head on me and I happily scratch its ears. I look up and see Jon looking at me with amusement and I ask, "What?" He says, "He likes you and he usually doesn't like new people." I look at him still smiling before I ask, "He yours." Jon nods before saying, "Come on Ghost." Ghost reluctantly walks over to him as they both leave.
During the next few days, I grow closer with Arya since we end up sword training together most days and I feel happy for the first time in a long time. I sit in Sansa's room in front of her mirror as she meticulously braids and pins my hair back. There was a feast tonight and we all had to look nice. She finishes pinning the last piece in place before saying, "There." I look at myself in the mirror impressed by her handiwork. I send her a grateful smile before she says, "Now we should probably head down to the feast." I stand up and she links her arm with mine as we make our way down to the feast.
When we arrive, the feast is already in full swing as Sansa and I head to our designated spots at the head table, and mine is next to Jon. The dinner goes on and I'm a little bored as I watch everyone has started dancing. I start getting a little warm so I get up and carefully make my way through the dancers taking up almost the whole hall. Once outside I let out a sigh of relief as the cool northern air hits my skin. I begin walking through the courtyards of the castle as I make my way towards the godswood. I reach the edge of the woods but before I can go in I hear someone ask, "What are you doing out here?" I turn around to see Jon approaching me. I say, "I was getting warm so I came out here for some fresh air." He nods and I let him walk to me and he asks, "Can I join you?" I nod and he places his hand on the small of my back as we walk into the woods.
Our walk is silent until Jon brings me to a stop under one of the larger trees in the middle of the woods and has me face him. I watch as his eyes look anywhere but me and I ask, "What's wrong?" He finally looks at me still nervous and he says, "You know I'm Lord of Winterfell now?" I nod and he takes a deep breath before continuing on, "And I'm expected to marry." I nod and my heart starts to race and my mind races with a million different thoughts of how this could go. I watch as he takes a deep breath before stating, "When we were little I had feelings for you, then you left and I was heartbroken. But now you're back and so are those feelings." I ask nervously, "So what are you saying?" He sigh and runs his hand over his hair as he mutters out, "Seven hells Y/N." Before he smashes his lips to mine. I'm too stunned to do anything for moment until I register what's happening and I kiss back. We pull away and Jon says, "So my next question is, how would you feel about becoming lady of Winterfell?" I stare at him stunned for a moment before I regain myself and say, "Yes. I would love to." I watch as he starts to smile, before taking my hand and walking with me back to the castle to make the announcement.
