Summary: You're Maverick's daughter and grew up with Bradley. When you're reunited, his team can't believe you two aren't dating.

Warnings: Just mentions of alcohol.

Author's Note: I liked this idea because I haven't done one for Bradley in a while. Might do a part two to this one.

I feel excitement filling my body as my dad and I make our way to the Hard Deck Bar. My dad and I had been called back to Top Gun to train recruits for a new mission. I knew my best friend growing up would be here and I hadn't seen him in years but I'd been in touch with him.

My dad and I walk into the bar and he immediately goes and begins flirting with Penny. I smile to myself as my eyes travel around the bar until I see a familiar Hawaiian shirt. I smile as I make my way over to where he is with a group of fellow aviators.

I smile as I walk up behind him and say, "Hey Bradshaw." He turns around and when he sees me his face lights up. He sets his beer down before picking me up in a hug. I inhale and am surrounded by his familiar scent.

He pulls away before asking, "What are you doing here?" I reply, "Well as it just so happens I'm here to train some recruits for a mission." He looks excited before he says, "You look different. I mean a good different."

I blush a little at his compliment and I take this time to take him in. He's gotten more muscular and has a small mustache on his upper lip. Other than that he hasn't changed that much I still very much have feelings for him. I hear someone clear their throat from behind Bradley and he steps to the side and places his arm around my waist.

I see a guy with blonde hair looking at me and Bradley says, "Jake this is Y/N." I wave politely as Bradley introduces me to the other members of the team. Once introductions are done Jake asks, "So Bradshaw is this your girl?"

Instantly Bradley and I are protesting and clearly stating that we are not dating. I see them look between the two of us and I say, "I'm going to go get a drink." As I walk to the bar I miss Bradley's eyes following me to the bar.

As the night goes on, Bradley and I fall back into our natural banter from when we were younger. Slowly the bar emptied, and Bradley and I left alone. We're sitting by the window laughing as we sip our drinks. I lean against his side as I laugh at something he said.

Bradley and I are so caught up in seeing each other again that we don't notice my dad and Penny smiling at the two of us together. I hear Bradley say, "I've missed you." I mumble out, "Missed you too." He stands up before he says, "I should get going. I'll see you tomorrow."

I watch as he leaves and I rest my head in my hands as I think to myself that this was going to be harder than I thought especially since my feelings for Bradley had only grown since I'd seen him again.
