Summary: You're Hotch's daughter and fall for Special Agent Seeley Booth.
Warnings: Mentions of violence and the usual Bones and Criminal Minds
Author's Note: I haven't done one for Bones in a while and I also like the thought of a Bones and Criminal Minds crossover.
I walk into Quantico and make my way up to where my dad works in the BAU. I walk in and see everyone is gathered in a group. I walk over and my dad wraps his arm around me and I ask, "What's going on?" My dad replies, "Well today we're going to the Jeffersonian."
I feel excitement fill my body, even though my dad was a profiler I was more interested in the actual crime scene and crime itself. The Jeffersonian was where Dr. Temperance Brennan the world-renowned anthropologist worked. I had read all of her books and was a huge fan of hers.
We arrive at the Jeffersonian and it's a lot bigger than I expected. We walk through to the lab and I gasp. I look around at all the lab assistants walking around in their blue coats. Our group comes to a stop at a platform and I see Dr. Brennan.
She walks towards us, Rossi introduces us as a group before we each individually introduce ourselves. She allows us onto the platform and I begin looking at their latest case. The body is laid out on the examination table. I look at the bones in interest, I glance up and see that Spencer and Dr. Brennan are having a very intense conversation. Rossi and my dad are talking to Cam the supervisor of the team.
I see a file sitting on one of the tables next to the examination table and I pick it up. I flip through it before it's taken out of my hand. I look and see someone in a suit looking down at me. I gulp, as I say, "Can I help you?"
Rather aggressively, he says, "Yeah. Special Agent Seeley Booth. And who are you?" I relax a little knowing he was FBI. I say, "I'm Y/N. I'm Hotch's daughter, I work with the BAU."
I motion over to where the groups are mingling, I begin talking to him about how I have an interest in more of the crime scene aspect rather than the psychology like my dad. We end up talking most of the time we're there.
I find him easy to talk to and I end up telling him about the BAU and some of the cases we've worked on. In turn, he ends up telling me about some of the cases he's worked with Dr. Brennan. We're so lost in our conversation we lose track of time and I practically have to be dragged away from the conversation.
The BAU ends up working on a case with the Jeffersonian because one of their bodies has a similar M.O. to our case. I get some hands-on experience doing something I like instead of staying behind with my dad. Also, during this time I find myself gravitating towards Booth.
We're standing by the plane and I'm talking to Booth. He asks, "So would you like to get lunch with me?" I smile at him as I ask, "So are you asking me on a date?"
To my surprise, he gets a little flustered and I giggle, "I'd like that." I kiss his cheek before going over to my dad leaving him frozen by the plane.
The next day I make sure to pick out a nice shirt and pants since I had lunch with Booth today. I make my way to Quantico since Booth said that's where he'd pick me up from. I feel my phone buzz and a text that simply says Here
I go down to the front of the building and see Booth waiting for me by his car. I walk towards him and he opens the car door for me. We end up at a diner, we sit across from each other and easily fall into conversation again.
We spend about an hour at lunch and we both can't stop smiling, before I leave I hear Booth say, "So, what would you say to another date?" I look at him and say, "I'd like that."
I feel a warm hand being placed on top of mine. I look up and see Booth sitting there with a cocky smile on his face. I roll my eyes at him but smile nonetheless.
