Summary: You have your first kiss with Cas

Author's Note: Just an idea I had that was inspired by the above song.

I walk through the bunker singing along to the song that was currently playing in my earbuds. Since I had started dating Cas a few weeks ago I had been listening to more romantic songs and this one was the current one I was fixated on. As I listen to the words I can't help but feel a little sad, Cas and I hadn't had our first kiss yet on account of wanting to take the relationship slow since he had never been in one before. I see Cas sitting on the couch and I lay down resting my head on his lap and he looks down at me with his adorable puppy dog face. He leans down and kisses the tip of my nose causing me to giggle as he asks, "What are you listening to." I unplug my earbuds and play the song out loud for him and I hum along with it. When the song is done Cas says, "I want to take you somewhere tonight can you be ready by six?" I nod before asking, "What should I wear?" Cas thinks for a minute before replying, "Something warm but casual okay?" I nod before standing up from the couch and making my way to my room.

It's quarter to six and I'm not sure what to wear, but I ultimately decide on a pair of jeans and a hoodie. I brush my hair and pull it back and no sooner have I finished than I hear a knock on my door, I take a deep breath even though I'd known Cas for a while I still felt nervous. I open the door and see Cas is still in his usual tie and trench coat and I roll my eyes before I hear him ask, "You ready to go?" I nod and he takes my hand and I feel my whole world flip upside down and when I open my eyes I see we're outside.

I look around and see we're on a dirt path and it's dark out, I shiver a little as a breeze blows through the trees. I feel Cas gently take my hand in his and gently begins leading me down the dirt path. Neither of us says anything until we come to a stop at an open field. I feel my jaw drop at the sight of a perfectly round full moon over the field and fireflies winking back and forth at each other as they fly over the knee-high grass. The grass is swaying in the breeze creating a gentle rustling noise that mixes with the sound of cicadas. I let go of Cas's hand and walked into the field and ran my hand along the top of the grass. I turn around and see Cas following behind me and I come to a stop as he stops a few steps away from me. I stare into his beautiful ocean-blue eyes and say, "It's beautiful." I take a step towards him and he does as well, I feel my heart start to beat faster at our close proximity and I hear Cas ask, "Is this how you pictured it?" I stare at him confused before he says, "The song." I smile at him before replying, "It's better than I imagined it." With those words, we close the remaining distance between us and I feel his rough yet gentle lips on mine as we share our first kiss under the moonlight.

When we arrive back at the bunker both of us grinning like lovesick idiots, Dean and Sam both look up at our arrival and Dean asks, "What's got you two smiling like that?" Cas and I share a knowing look before giggling and walking past the two confused brothers to my room.
