Summary: You go to visit your husband Jimmy.
Warnings: Somewhat sad
Author's Note: I wrote this in my monthly writing club meeting and decided to publish it here. Hope you all like it. Also for all my GOT readers out there, I will be posting some more imagines for that soon.
I walk down the dirty, cracked sidewalk and draw my coat tighter around myself in an attempt to fight off the chill of the crisp Oregon air. I come to a stop outside of my destination and stare up at the wrought iron gate that is standing open inviting me inside. I look past the gate towards the line of trees whose leaves are changing color before dropping to the ground and dancing across the ground as they make faint whispering noises when they touch the concrete. I take a deep breath before walking inside as the concrete changes to dirt under my shoes. I walk along the path that has been regularly cleared for people like me. I walk to the back almost to the edge of the trees before coming to a stop. I turn to the left and begin walking down towards the end. I feel my heart starting to get heavy the closer I get. I reach the end and come to a stop and turn to face forward toward the trees once more. I kneel down ignoring how the water from the grass seeps in through my pants. I reach up and wipe a stray tear from my cheek before beginning to speak in a shaky voice, "Hey I know you probably can't hear me but I want you to know I miss you and I love you." I reach forward and wipe a patch of dirt from the headstone in front of me revealing the name. Jimmy Novak. My husband, or at least he used to be. I stand up and place my hand on the gravestone and feel a sense of comfort wash over me as I whisper one more, "I love you." Before walking away.
Back over by the gravestone a man with black hair and ocean-blue eyes watches his wife walk away as he says to the empty fall air, "I love you."
