Summary: You have a nightmare and your boyfriend comforts you.

Warnings: Concerned Corio.

Author's Note: Sorry I didn't publish yesterday but I will double publish today to make up for it. And here is the weekly Young! Snow update that was supposed to be yesterday.

I woke up for the third time this week in a cold sweat and breathing heavily. I run a hand through my hair that's sticking to my forehead with sweat. I see my boyfriend still sleeping peacefully next to me and I know I can't wake up up.

He had been up late the last several weeks doing work for Dr. Gaul while also keeping up with his schoolwork. He had been going to bed late and waking up early so I knew I couldn't wake him up.

I carefully climb out of bed so as not to wake Corio. I grab my nightgown from the end of the bed and put it on as I make my way to the front room. I grab my book that's sitting on the end table and settle into the couch.

I've been reading for about ten minutes when I hear soft footsteps coming out of the bedroom. I look up and see Corio rubbing the sleep out of his eyes. His hair is still growing back from his time as a peacekeeper but it's long enough to be rumpled and sticking up in all directions. I'm blessed with the view of his perfectly sculpted body with a pair of sleep pants slung low on his hips.

He sits down next to me and rubs my back and I melt into his touch. He asks softly, "What are you doing up?" I hide my face in his shoulder not willing to tell him about my nightmare because I know he's going to wonder why I didn't tell him. I mutter out, "Nightmare."

I hear him sigh softly before I hear him say, "That's the third time this week." I say, "I know but you've got so much you're working on." He takes my hand and says, "No matter how much I'm working on you'll always be my first priority." He kisses the top of my head and I hum happily.

I close my book and place it back on the table as Corio and I walk back to the bedroom. We climb into bed and Corio instantly pulls me towards him and wraps his arms around me protectively. I move myself as close to him as possible and bury my face in his chest as I doze off again.

For the rest of the week, anytime I have a nightmare I make sure to wake Corio. When I do he doesn't get mad at me for waking him up. He comforts me holds me close to him and whispers sweet words in my ear until I go back to sleep. I was grateful to have Corio as a boyfriend.
