Summary: You've always been a huge fan of Josh Hutcherson and you finally get to meet him.

Warnings: None

Author's Note: This week has been absolutely insane for me and a lot has happened. But, everything has finally managed to calm down and I can have some time to write. This was requested by @JulzLovDraco4Eva.

I looked at my computer screen in disbelief, the list of celebrities that would be at Comic-Con had just been released and my favorite actor of all time was going to be there. Josh Hutcherson. Immediately, I'm heading to the ticket section so that I can finally have my dream of meeting him in person.

The weeks creep by, until finally, it's the day of Comic-Con. I put on some casual clothes and begin the drive to where it's being held. I have a hard time finding a parking spot but once I do and once I get inside my eyes widen.

I look around at all the different people dressed up as their favorite characters and all the booths selling either comic books or memorabilia for one thing or another. The meet and greet didn't start until three so I had some time to waste.

I wander around the venue stopping here and there when something catches my eye. I check the time on my phone and decide that I should probably get in line. I make my way over, and even though there's still a little under an hour left before it starts there is still a long line of people already waiting. I sigh as I walk forward and ensure my place in the line.

By the time my phone says it's three my feet are already starting to hurt a little. The line slowly moves forward only a few people at a time and I can feel myself growing more excited as I slowly creep closer to the front of the line.

After about forty-five minutes there were only about five people left in front of me. They go. Then it's my turn. I step forward and feel my breath catch in my throat as I see him only a few feet in front of me. I feel my heart start to pound, and my mouth goes dry.

I'm clutching my phone like a lifeline, and I'm surprised it doesn't break. He smiles at me as I step forward closer to him. I say, "Hi. I'm a huge fan of yours and I've seen all your movies."

I feel my cheeks flame at the confession and mentally kick myself at my awkwardness. But he laughs. I get my picture taken with him before handing him a few things I want him to sign. All too soon though my time is up and the next person is called forward.

I look through the pictures on my phone and notice how truly happy I look. I look at the pictures he signed until I pause on one of them. Under his name is a number. I feel my heart start to race and I quickly make my way back to the safety of my car.

I sit in the driver's seat with my mind racing not wanting to believe that it could be his phone number, but I have to hope. Slowly, and carefully I put the numbers into my phone double and triple checking that it's correct before I hit save.

I type out a quick message but delete it before trying again. It takes me about five tries before I'm happy with the text. My thumb hovers over the send button but I press it before I can second-guess myself. I throw my phone on the passenger seat before beginning my drive home.

When I got home, I forced myself to not look at my phone while I framed and hung up my pictures that I'd had him sign. Once I've deemed them in their proper spots, it's only then that I check my phone. I see I have a text message, I open it with shaking hands and see that it's from Josh.

I feel my heart soar, at knowing that he felt like he could give me his phone number. I quickly text him back grinning, not knowing this would be the start of something new and wonderful.
