I walk through the halls of the Academy as I look for my boyfriend Corio when I feel someone slam me against the wall. My vision goes fuzzy for a minute before I see the face of a girl in the grade above me.

She says, "You know I don't know what Coriolanus sees in you. I think he'd be much better off with me."

She slams me against the wall again and before I know it I reach out and my fist connects with her nose. She screams and other people in the halls turn to look at us and she screeches, "You broke my nose!"

I simply say, "Oh come on I'm not even sweating yet."

She rushes off to the infirmary and the world starts spinning the last thing I see before I lose consciousness is a blonde head rushing over to catch me.

When I wake up I'm lying on a bed and I see Corio pacing at the foot of my bed. My head is pounding and I groan against the light. Corio hears me and rushes over to my side.

Worry and panic are evident in his usual icy blue eyes and his usually stiff and styled hair is sticking up in places. He grabs my hand and sits down and I hear him say, "Oh thank god you're okay."

He begins to ramble on about how worried I made him and I have to shout, "Corio!" to get him to stop.

I smile before I say, "I'm fine okay? Just a little dizzy is all."

Corio smiles happy to see me talking and he says, "The nurse said you had a mild concussion and I don't think that's what I would call okay."

I smile at his protective nature but can't help but feel a little guilty that I made him feel that way. I say, "I'll live okay? And besides it's nothing that a few days of rest won't fix."

He nods and helps me sit up from the bed and when I sit up the room spins, even more so when I stand up but Corio steadies me. He helps me leave the academy and to his place with his grandmother and cousin.

Corio and I had both gotten the next few days off from the academy so I could recover from my concussion and Corio so he could take care of me.

Corio makes sure I'm all settled in his room and that no light comes in as he lays in the bed next to me. I hear him ask softly, "How'd you end up with a concussion?"

I say, "Well some girl came up to me and slammed me against the wall and was saying things like I don't deserve you. I broke her nose though."

I hear Corio laugh softly as he kisses my cheek. Over the next few days, he takes turns with his cousin and his grandma to take care of me.

The day finally comes when the two of us have to go back to the academy. We stand outside the main doors with our hands interlocked. I look up at Corio and together we walk inside.

Rumors of my fight had spread around the academy and people stare as we walk through the halls. Corio keeps me close to him until we get to where my books are kept. He removes his hand from mine before leaning down and kissing me leaving me breathless.

I hear him whisper out, "I'll see you later darling."

Before he's walking through the crowd of students. I see everyone looking between us and I can't help but smile to myself knowing that there was nothing they could do to break us apart.
