Anakin Skywalker x Jedi! Wife Reader

Summary: Spending the holidays with your Husband Anakin.

I wake up to my alarm going off and quickly shut it off before it can wake my still-sleeping husband. I carefully climbed out of bed trying not to wake him but I knew that it wouldn't be long before he would get up because of my absence from the bed. 

I make my way to the main part of the house already mentally creating a list of things that had to be done today and most of it was cleaning. 

As I walk through the front room I see the undecorated tree and I mentally remind myself to let Anakin help the kids decorate the tree so they'll be out of my way while I clean the house. 

I'm in the kitchen making some breakfast when I hear the bedroom door open. I look up and see my husband. He comes over and kisses my cheek in greeting. 

It isn't long before we hear the doors to the twin's rooms open and they come running out to greet us. Anakin scoops Leia up into his arms and peppers her face with kisses while Luke runs straight to me. 

We set them down and I say, "Kids, dad's going to help you decorate the tree today." 

They cheer before sitting at the table while I finish breakfast. Once breakfast is finished and cleaned up Anakin goes and starts grabbing the boxes with ornaments and decorations for the tree. 

I clean the kitchen and carefully keep an eye on Anakin and the kids to make sure they don't do anything stupid. All the ornaments are on the tree and the only thing left is the topper. 

Luke wants to put the topper on and Anakin picks him up but I can see a mischievous glint in his eyes as he raises Luke. When he's close to the top he lets go. 

I let out a squeak and rush forward but Anakin is using the force to hold him up and move him higher to put the topper on. I anxiously stand next to Anakin and as soon as Luke is back in his arms I let out a sigh of relief. 

I smack Anakin's arm and say, "Don't scare me like that." 

He just laughs when we hear the doorbell ring. I go to the door and open it to see Obi-Wan. I welcome him into the house and as soon as he's inside the kids rush towards him. 

I smile as Obi-Wan crouches down and says hi to the kids. I see Anakin watching from the tree with a rare smile on his face and I go back to the kitchen. 

I watch from the kitchen as the kids grab their toys and excitedly show them to Obi-Wan. It isn't long before he's sitting down on the couch and talking with Anakin. 

The sun sets and finally, the house is clean. Obi-Wan decided to stay for dinner which was a nice addition.

The kids are in bed and Anakin and I are still talking with Obi-Wan. He checks the time before he says, "I should go." 

We stand up and walk him to the door. Once he leaves I feel Anakin running his hands up and down my arms as he asks, "What do you still need to do?" 

I reply, "Well I need to wrap the kids gifts still." 

Anakin goes to our bedroom and grabs their gifts while I get the wrapping paper. We set up in the middle of the room and I decide to let Anakin just pass me the gifts while I wrap them since his wrapping skills are a little subpar. 

We're halfway through when I feel Anakin stick a piece of tape on my cheek. I look at him and he has the roll of tape with a glint in his eye. I quickly stand up and begin running around the house while he chases me with the tape. 

He uses the force to freeze me in place so I use the force to trip him causing him to fall and lose the tape. He quickly loses the force on me and I rush forward and use the force to bring the tape to me. 

Anakin looks up at me from the ground as I give him an evil smile and he begins to run. I chase him around the house until he's cornered. I begin walking towards him until he is pressed flat against the wall with nowhere to go. 

We're practically chest to chest and I say, "Don't finish what you can't start." 

Before I can comprehend anything he's grabbing my waist and flipping us around so I'm the one pinned against the wall. I can feel my cheeks heating up. Anakin leans down his blue eyes staring intently into mine. 

He leans down and captures my lips in his. His kiss is slow and sensual and I feel myself melting. He pulls away with a cocky smirk before his eye flit up and I notice the mistletoe hanging above us. 

I let out a sigh but can't stay mad at him. I still have the roll of tape and I say, "Come on, let's go finish wrapping." 

In one swift move, Anakin is picking me up throwing me over his shoulder, and carrying me back to the front room.
